Stage 27 of the Camino Frances, from O Cebreiro down to Triacastela. I am attacked by a huge and deadly monster on the way! We walk through Liñares (I part with beloved items), Alto de Poio, Fonfría (snack stop), Filloval, Pasantes and Ramil (1,000 year old Chestnut tree).

Thanks Lindsey and Andrew for letting me walk along with you through your videos. I've walked two Camino Frances from SJPD, first in 2015 and second 2017. Your narrative and relaxed demeanor makes me miss this so much. Again, thank you and buen camino!

That climb up to O'Cebrerio is tough, a lot tougher than one might think.

I think the risk of injury is higher because it comes after a slow, albeit beautiful or at least charming, drag uphill, particularly if you’re coming from Villafranca del Bierzo or even further. The climb itself isn’t too bad, on its own.

I'm not surprised by you being sad at leaving your shoes behind. They've been a good friend and seen you through many paths and how many shoes do you have in your closet? I was surprised by my friend who saw a pair of shoes in Pamplona she "had to have" and carried them the entire Camino....go figure..

I intend to keep doing one a week although sadly they can’t be from the Camino for now. Walks in the UK, and various musings, maybe about equipment as well as… well, you know the way I am, pretty much everything can be a theme. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to cover.
