agreed the cyotes sound odd high pitch... 2v or 4 valve sound better than the 3 valve thou imo...a cammed 3v sounds odd to me at idle. my comp cammed 2v sounded insane at idle...look up cammed 96- 98 mustang gt 4.6 on here
I agree. The 4.6 L 3V is one of the best sounding modern V8s out there. Not the fastest or most powerful, but certainly great sounding. Like a Muscle Car should sound! 👍 👍

oh man sweet ride,,,just like my 07 gt ,,i just upgraded the rear with a eaton true posi chuck,better axles and ford racing 3.73 gears,i had 4.10`s,currently has a 5spd which i plan on upgrading to a T56 magnum 6spd with a mantic dual clutch,motor currently has a few upgrades but definately getting a supercharger,,,,sweet ride you got there and a blast a drive...mine only had 28K miles on it when i bought it and plan to keep it forever lol
Well they are pony cars. Not JDM/Euro super track cars. These are meant to be big cars, with good sounding V8's and a lot of power and heavy/under steering and going fast on the quarter mile. If you ask me I think it's doing it's job as a pony car perfectly fine. They handle alright but compared to a BMW, mercedes, toyota's handling. No lol it's not in the same category of those cars. xD

I have pacesetters longtubes too it was a pain too install and fitment was bit off, did you have any problems with your headers install? and does those slp loudmouth axles backs drone? I have fr500s on mine no drone but I wants louder.
The axle backs do drone a bit. I didn’t install it myself but they are having some clearance issues with steering can’t full lock because of the headers and wheel and tire figment as well. But keep in mind my headers are wrapped as well. Thanks for the love bro
What rims and tires are those bro and also how'd you make the tire lettering white, I tried paint pen but that shit comes off in like a week or turns yellow if I use tire shine, love the car btw thanks got a 04 4.6L myself🤪
20 Rovo wheels and 255/35 in the front, 305/35 in the back. It’s the pen as well I just bought the tire letters gonna put them on and give a total update. Thanks preciate the love.

Well the most important mods that makes my car sound like this is long tubes headers, off-road h pipe, delete axle backs and most importantly the hot rod Ford racing camshafts
The most I’ve seen a. 3v was 387-390 wheel na. Now he would have made more if he was up on compression. Combo of cam that was better for boost and lost compression due to ported heads. Which is good for long term if u boost. So 400 na wheel or close 500 crank is the best a 4.6 is gonna get
It is a 2006. Tail lights second hand use. But can get them from American muscle same goes for the headlights fog lights and chin spoiler. Rear diffuser from amazon. Universal fit, just modified it to the bumper. Simple not hard.

Sorry man no ig on this build but I appreciate the love. I use to be the exact same on the idle part but on the blue mustang with silver billets. On RU-vid as well before I put the cams and headers in. To get an idea how it would sound when I have mines put in.
Because the coyote is better bro ain't you heard? Since the coyote is better that makes the 3v a waste of time and not even worth messing with. That's how the toxic coyote fanboys think and talk. What they forget is they're significantly less money so it's all relative. They are capable too it just takes more modding to achieve the same power levels but it costs less up front. You pay more into mods but less into the car itself with the newer coyotes it's the opposite you pay alot more up front for the car itself but less into mods overall to get to any certain power level if that makes sense. There's nothing at all wrong with 3v long as you don't overpay and even if you do that's OK too. Way too much hate and toxicity in the community.
They're a fraction of the cost of a newer rt dodge and these things can run with them stock and modified easily they're much much lighter and a better car for handling. They're a better option than alot of stuff especially for the money.
