absolutely ;), I always wait for my temps to start going up until I give her a go on the fun pedal. (I also own a g8 in liquid red, the best looking factory g8 color imo).
I have the biggest smile on my face right now because I am doing my first LS swap and somehow I managed to find one of these engines in an 07 gmc truck that needs a new camshaft 😉
IMO, Nothing on the earth beats the sound of a big ol' American V8. None of that European V10 or V12 shit even comes close. Except the sound of jet engines. Jets are always bad ass
Good to see the progress you have made. If I may you should get the rear wing that comes on the VE Commodore here in Australia. It's just not the same without it. Have you checked out on RU-vid any VE SS Commodore's?
Your car sounds awesome, I definitely want my G8 to sound like that. Where did you get the BTR Stage 2 and how much it will cost plus installation? Thanks for sharing the video
there’s this g8 gt im looking at for $9,500 with 155k miles on it with cai. long tube headers. magnaflow exhaust system and a tune and it’s been taking care of. guy bought it in 2011 and put 75k miles on it he rarely drives it now and it is garage kept but idk how reliable the g8s are. what are your thoughts on it ? should i take the chance?
Did you switch the solo Mach for the solo street? If so how do you like it I’m torn between the both of them and your reasoning may help My decision. Thanks buddy
@@nathanlamping396 I sold the car in 2020. Still had the street on it. I plan on getting another g8 in the near future and I'm going for tone over loudness this time.
@@allhail60 I understand that. This is my first go around with a g8 and I like semi load but also want it to sound good so I’m just trying to figure a route to go that way I don’t have to replace exhaust setups multiple times trying to get the right sound!
Hey I was wondering if you know about rolling coal and can you do it with an older truck now since they didn’t have the same emissions requirements? Or does it apply to newer trucks when you modify because they are not made to do that. Or is it just all trucks in general that you can’t do it on?
Okay I don’t know why I’m replying to this year old comment but here goes. Rolling coal is a term used for when diesel trucks spray the black smoke out the tail pipe. Any diesel truck can do this from older to newer. The thing is that that actually is not what you want. When a diesel is spewing black smoke it means it is literally choking itself out and is not getting enough air. Only diesels can roll coal and if you are rolling coal then you should probably sell your truck and buy a prius because you do not know what you are doing.
