What an adventurous girl and may I say, your professional presentation surpasses bbc and itv documentaries,well done girl you are an inspiration to the younger generation. I’m in my 70’s and have climbed many peaks in snowdonia, I’m very impressed.

The fairy Glen is actually about a mile down stream from the bridge. Was caught jumping of the bridge a few years ago and got a nice fine in the post 😑

Portmeirion has wonderful woodland walks, so you really missed out there! You might try a trip to Anglesey, lots of neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age sites including the remains of an entire little at village Din Lligwy. Great waterfall back on the mainland Aber Falls only 10 or so miles from Llandudno.

Heyyyy 👋👋 awww love your video. I visited Wales too and there is so much beauty. Were lucky here in England. The last waterfall. You need to go back there! Maybe not after walking snowdon haha. To the right (you went down left) wall up the hill! At the top there are old ruin houses and a massive lack and just a beautiful place. If you walk further round we found like a cave entrance and we're waiting for the skin crawlers to come out 😂. God bless you ❤

Never been to Wales. I remember Portmeirion from "The Prisoner" series, used to scare me shitless as a kid when that big bubble rolled down the beach after him. It's not worth £13, you should just have put the drone up as you did and saved the money. There was a series on TV recently about the all year round maintenance of the village, very interesting, but I wouldn't like to work there either, too Disney looking. Snowdon appeals to me as I have climbed many Munros in Scotland, but I don't like the fact they have way marked trails, makes it too easy. Lol. Nice spot on the beach to park up, but it will be mobbed in summer. Safe travels. :)

This was really lovely to watch, you have a good quality camera which made the scenery ever more, stunning with clarity and very picturesque to watch. I live in North Wales, but what you are doing with your van, touring etc, is something I too myself have often thought of doing, only I would cheat a bit on the 'by myself thing', as I have a 20 month old Collie. Well done for climbing Snowdon, I only ever went up on the train as a kid with school on a day trip. Oh and I have not said this right, but nice looking girl too. Nice brown eyes. Did it last year,,with my 2 mad terriors,,,recognize laybys therefore!!,,,If you ever did Portmerion again,,,and hadn't scaled a mountain the day before! Can really recommend a shortish walk past the ship at the bottom of the town and along the shoreline...Then back through the woods,,,where there is a Japanese lake and alsorts of wood carvings of animals....well done you though,,really brave,,,especially Snowdon :).

Portmeirion is a pilgrimage destination for folks that want to see the filming location of a famous 60's TV series called "The Prisoner".... Although £15 is a bit steep for what is a film set... Most of the buildings on the skyline are not real, nor is the boat in the quay - its made out of concrete !! This is another great video Nic, with lots of great content..... Thumbs up from me, and I'll look forward to the next one..... Cheers.

@@nicroams I'm pretty sure you will return when recovered of course😀there are so many gorgeous places like the Aber Falls it's not so strenuous and there is the car park not far from the falls it's only about a 30 min walk and as much as you dont like walking in the rain this waterfall is well worth it to see it in all its powerful glory..I do have a one minute video on my channel if u want to check to see if it's worth the walk lol ...oh by the way I dont mind if u dont check my video there are lots to check out on Y.T LOL I'm going to keep upto date on your vids...take care bye!

@@nicroams your very welcome, 😀 I had planned and booked a trip to North Devon and should have been there now, however my father took a bad turn (long term illness) so decided to can it until he has improved, but the plan is always there lol, one of my friends does Snowdon every year and in on the top for the “New Year” kind of his thing, lol, thought it was funny that your cheeks were rosey when you reached the summit, showed you’d put effort in, lmao, anyway, stay safe, all the best Eddie x

It's worth having another climb. That happened the first time I did it. Have done it 6 times altogether now stayed up there twice all night. The sunset and sunrise are beautiful.

Yess there was a sign for no overnight parking but to be honest I never pay too much attention unless it is a built up area. We weren't the only ones there either and it was off peak

@@nicroams yes im not complaining about its loverly i slept in my estate whilst i was there gets to busy in the daytime in season the beach is packed with cars i really like newgale beach pembrokshire its lush a little campsite or various wildcamping spots i think that will be my place this year its still a little wild round there can get away from it all then do a few spots travelling back up wales along the coast probably last night in aberdovey then back to ellesemere 😊

Went to port merion (sp?) around 10 years ago and it was very pretty but also raining :P loved the statue of buddha but £13 is a swiz for the look of the place and not much else. Next time you're in Cornwall check out 'Rocky Valley' near Boscastle. It's a lovely riverside walk down to a shrine and ruined cottage where witches/pagans leave offerings, and past that is the sea view and cliffs. Completely free!

As I'm 99% in the wilderness on my own, with no social interactions I'm confident I won't be affected or cause ill health to anyone else. The only company I have for yet another evening are several very friendly sheep. Mind yourself and please don't let fear take over as it's damaging to mental health. I understand that there is a crisis but we also must ensure we mind ourselves and still continue living. This will pass.

I live in my car which is really hard work I used to live in Cornwallbecame homeless after an ex partner took my house off me but anywayI didn't know that you couldn't sleep on a lay-by at night.. I've been doing that for some years now

I remember Snowdon well as a kid that was a family walk, will go back soon in the van when I get chance. I'm glad you walked it, there used to be a train you could get if you only wanted to walk one way, or did I imagine that? I wouldn't have bothered with portmeirion for £13, looks very tacky, not my thing. Enjoy the outdoors for free where you can. I laughed at "it made me sad coz I like druid shit", quality quote :-)

You were chancing it going up that late in the day ,head torches are useless in mist or low cloud. You were very lucky to make it down safely. Its Port Meirion not Port Marian by the way 👍 nice video though .👍 oh by the way jumping of that bridge is not allowed ,people have died doing it.

You need to download an app called park4night it gives you all the places to park for free over night anywhere in the UK and Europe its a great app to have if you have a motorhome or a campervan. You should be able to find amazing places to stay over night somewhere with this app. Me and my partner use it and it's just amazing.

@@nicroams it's a handy app we used it around Europe and it was brilliant for finding the most random places to stay over night. If your heading back to North Wales anytime in the future, I recommend you to go around Anglesey, there is a beautiful spot to park up for the night on Llanddona beach the view is amazing when the sun is setting on the horizon, its very peaceful, relaxing and quite there.

You do know most plastic in the oceans come from developing countries who don't collect it, one can witness rivers with endless rubbish passing you by while you watch. Did you say you've a long board, isn't it electric or did you mean a snowboard? Perhaps carry an electric bicycle or scooter. What about places to park a motorhome, would it fit in places you park?

I believe a lot of plastic in these developing countries come from developed countries too as we ship our rubbish out there. Philippines temporaliy banned us exporting rubbish out there not too long ago. And yes a long board, it is similar to a skateboard but more for cruising 😄
