I am 73 and on the 6th of August, I am moving into my van for good. I have toured for 7 months a year until lockdown but always gone home. Home has now gone and I am now ready to go!! I would love a little border terrier to join me but I am not sure how that will work I will give it a year or two first maybe!
Good Luck Nic and huge praise for being so bold! Check out Llandudno & the Great Orme if you haven't already... and if you venture beyond the UK consider giving the van a brand new MOT before you leave; so's you can stay outside the UK for up to a full year, and still be 'legal'.

Hiya! I live in Bodelwyddan, North Wales. If you head down to the Llyn Peninsula, you have to go to Black Rock Sands! You can drive onto the beach & it’s massive!! It’s used by Top Gear etc all the time. It’s beautiful!! 😊
Ive always found the car parks around Bala Lake very busy. If youre there next time just head north and stop at the car park at the south end of Llyn Celyn.... A lot quieter
I typically travel off peak so I had the car park I usually stay at to myself 🤗. Although I actually don't mind the odd camper around here and there, sometimes it's nice to have a friendly neighbour 🤗
Bala the lake and the reservoir and lovely!!! I stayed up several times at the white lion in Bala for work and often went for a walk or run around the lake after work.
Let me tell u this... you have more balls then half the male friends that I have. What you doing is “crazy” I shall say but I encourage you to just keep going and follow your dreams and vision. Just be yourself and it will all come to you. Once again keep it up, u are doing a great job.
Haha not sure I can chill out yet, I left my office job and now content create. These vlogs take 2-3 days to do and that doesn't even count the filming etc 😄 busy busy, just a bit more free time 🤗

Yess it has been very surreal but a break I needed. Juggling my content creation along with the office job was getting very tiring. Haha ye it's quite far but if you get some time off work and it's good weather, Wales is a beautiful place to visit 🤗

Went campervanning in Pembrokeshire with my son and his girlfriend last weekend. First time we had seen him in 15 months due to Covid lockddown. We had a fab time and will return

@@nicroams my son has now just bought a van and is going to convert it to a camper. We will buy ours next year and first tour Spain and Portugal for 6 weeks

Loving your channel! I'm doing some research on doing a van build on my vivaro on my RU-vid channel and came across your channel and its great! I'm going to build the same bed idea as you did and a lot of other stuff. Can I also ask what company you use for your sponsorship deals if possible? We are just back from the west coast of Scotland and really enjoyed it but all we did was throw a blow ups bed in the back which wasnt ideal, hence me looking for more permanent and usable set ups. :)
Aw wicked, you will love having a vivaro by your side. A good little van to get you out there on the open road 😁 Also nothing wrong with a blow up bed in the back, I've done it many times before starting my van builds, for me it's all about the travel anyway ☺. Typically sponsorships either come directly to me, or they use various agencies to manage their collabs :).

Hey Hannah, my first van ate up a bit of my money but when I sold it I made it all back plus more. So this set me up for this smaller van. In regards to working, the first time around I did freelance work that I found via People Per Hour and this time around, I'm very lucky and I am now a content creator 🤗. I'm not sure what your skill set is in but it is worth checking out People Per Hour, Fiver and maybe even Workaway 🤗

Hi nic done you pertion, but that was going to happen because some people upset a lot of people with living crap behind some of it human. The police will only come if they get complaints, so one van is better then 10 vans all in one place, don't leave crap! Regards paul

Hey, I haven't changed the layout of my van. This is a different van just the same model 🤗. I've gone for a different layout however because I have 2 sliding doors 🤗

I can't see a road name but it's to the north right next to Rhowargor car park. Then you just follow the road all the way to Bala 🤗. Have the best time on your road trip 😄

Oh yes please! I tried my best but it is a very difficult tongue. Where I'm most confused is Cymru is pronounced Cumry which I get (I lived in N Wales for 6 months and parents have been there 8 years) but where I struggle is where there are 'Y's in other words but don't believe they are pronounced as a 'U'. I have learnt thank you and good morning though 😂
This isn't the simplest question haha, maybe research the different vans out there, they all accommodate different layouts and when designing your layout write a list of your priorities and base the layout off that. Use others for inspo but never copy it as you'll find everyone's van is built for their wants and needs and may not be perfect for you 🤗

When do Welsh people ‘make’ you speak the language? If you’re referring to Welsh people speaking Welsh, I mean... god forbid people speaking their native language in their own country. How dare they. Do you expect Italians to only speak your language so you can understand them when you visit Italy? Or anywhere else where they have their own language? Many Welsh speakers It’s their first language. And until they know you are not a native they are likely to communicate with you in their native tongue, just like in any other country, until they know otherwise.
