What a lovely weekend!! The beauty of a trailer is it doesn't really matter if it rains! You're still dry and cozy! Booked our PEI vacation for the beginning of August. SO EXCITED!!!! I miss camping so much, my parents and grandparents and aunts all used to go like ur family when I was a kid, now my parents have a cottage, relatives work and schedules conflict, those memories were some of the best loved seeing ur special family time ❤❤❤❤

Don't fret momma, I have raised 2 girls and 2 boys and in my experience girls are just more sensitive and moody than boys. I don't think she's spoiled so much as she's a girl and her age, she'll grow out of it. You're doing a amazing job with them and the camping trip looked so fun. ❤🥰

You live in such a beautiful area. I'm sad that my camping trip there has now been cancelled 2yrs in a row, can't leave Ontario, and alot of my camping trips here has also been cancelled, parks here may be able to open June 14th fingers crossed we have booked camping right through to Oct. Fundy park looks beautiful, hopefully I will make it next year. Looks like you had a great time, the weather wasn't to bad, making beautiful memories with your family. Blackflies are really bad in May and early June they are a annoying for sure, got those drinks into to help Yeh.😜 No cleanup begins, and decompressing till next time. Try the Crock-Pot next time. Cure for boredom......( No she is not to young) find something really boring! You guys are great parents. My Mom was the coolest Mom in town she used it on us(I was 4) I used it on my boys (took twice with my youngest and most stubborn one). Moms twist to was washing the baseboards in the hall probably only took 10 minutes then help me build a playhouse on the side of our house. My twist could really be fun if they let it. I would wet the porch with the waterhose add a little bit of soap and hand them brooms...now scrub. It soon became a fun task and they would ask to scrub the porch. Of course it always ended with playing with the hose in the yard. Lots of ideas, washing rocks( yes boring, end in rock painting not boring). I believe you are also the coolest Mom in town, don't let her stress you out. Looks like some great rocks on that 🏖️ beach to test it out with. I don't like seeing you sad or upset, you do a lot to make your family happy and these camping trips prove it. Keep happy my friend, because you always make my day brighter.

I spy the Parks Canada red adirondack chairs looking over the ocean! We had to buy a couple of them from Costco this year! Love sittin in them so much! We spend two or three weeks every summer at Riding National Park in Manitoba and I just think it’s so cool that these iconic red chairs are all across Canada at the National parks for everyone to enjoy! So jealous you get to camp at the ocean! Absolutely stunning views!

That was a nice looking camp area! Lots of things to do! Where we camped there were not that many things to do at some. But mostly fish, swim and cook out. We had got a screened in tent to eat in so no flies and other bugs. Or less of them. Because we had a tent trailer or one that went on back of dad’s truck when we lots younger. My oldest and I had a tent for years. Now I would need a nice camper.

I had a few white freeze's this weekend as well....guess I need to try the blue next. You make camping look fun (I don't camp - EVER!) Tried it once in a tent when we were in a baseball tournament, we ended up getting up and renting a motel room down the road lol.

The black flies were sooo awful at our site too, I’m still covered in bites! Our thermacell really helped though. We unfortunately got rained out of our campsite Saturday morning and had to go home way early from Fundy. My boyfriend is in the room while I’m watching this and said “well it was better and easier watching their camping trip then us going, why was our trip awful and theirs so good” 🤪 Glad you guys had fun!

That takeout has the best fried whole clams. The next time you’re in Alma, stop at the bakery.....it’s the building n the left with the red roof as you leave town. They have the BEST cinnamon rolls and cookies.

I enjoyed watching your family long weekend in Fundy, unfiltered. Camping is hard on moms (dads too), less resources, space and throw in some wacky weather and bugs... BUT wonderful memories! I almost choked when I saw the price of gas however...$1.33!! Good ol Irving 🤣

I understand how Winnie feels, when I was young I use to get very upset if my mom gave other kids her attention. I was very close to my mom, when I was 2 she had to stay in the hospital for about 2 months and I ended up with seperation anxiety until I was 21.

Hey girl!! Looks beautiful where you went. I love the ocean too, just hearing the waves crash against the rocks is amazing. The wharf & the fishing boats are just like in Quebec where my husband grew up. One time when we were visiting down east, his friend took all of us on a ride in his fishing boat - pretty cool. Do you use any kind of a bug repellent spray or lotion for the black flies? In Saskatchewan, it’s mosquitoes & wood ticks that are really bad. Ticks are gross. We buy a pill for Oliver 🐾 every Summer that lasts three months so if ticks try to burrow in they die. I wish they made that pill for humans!! I love the campfires, & going for boat rides. In Saskatchewan, we get so much wind that we can’t even use the boat that much because of the white-caps making the water too rough. I do love going for a boat ride though. I like to sit up front with a drink, & just enjoy the view. We have hills & a lake, but no ocean. I’m sure you’re exhausted today & still doing laundry. I remember those days. For years now, we’ve had a seasonal site 20 mins away, so it’s less work once you get stocked up. Our kids are on their own now, so just us & the dog. He loves it outdoors, & loves boating. He’ll jump in the middle of the lake & swim if our kids have been tubing & are taking a break. I always pack a lunch, & we have lunch on the boat - so fun. Hope our Daughter & her friends will be able to visit us out at the lake - our Son won’t come anymore (that’s a whole long story). Looks like Jasper had a ball too. in muskoka ontario....black fly city! and my 11 year old gets "black fly" fever every spring. welts, swollen glands, super itch....horrible. benadryl helps with swelling and some tylenol if he's achy.

What a great park. I love the water so much, too. I couldn't live someplace that wasn't a short drive from water. Better yet, a home on the edge of a lake would be perfect. BTW, Fundy is pronounced the way Curtis does but Detroit is pronounced the way you do. Too many Canadians put that extra "i" in Detroit. I have no idea why but it bugs the hell out of me. 😘💋 I'm just glad you had such a great weekend and Cooper didn't get bit by the black-flies.

There’s a full moon coming! I swear that’s why my Lea was absolutely horrid this weekend lol The area is beautiful! Even for a golf course haha and those boats! I can totally relate to the panic about black flies, I experience it too. The best investment I have made is a Thermocell unit from Canadian Tire. It's amazing, for me anyways, it makes a huge difference. Everyone wants to sit with me when I bring out the Thermocell :) Love from NS.

Maritime camping at its finest!!! Bugs and toques lol!!!! I have a daughter winnies age too and she’s the exact same way 24/7 lol! I really think it’s just a girl thing! This video is giving me all the feels, can’t wait to camp when our ns lockdown is over!

We left home twice, then when we left the trailer we stopped at Mickey Ds and I said did anyone turn off the air conditioner, nope so we headed back to turn it off! I looked like Will Smith from the Movie Hitch all weekend, holy allergic! People kept saying are you ok! The files were on point as well this weekend, I will have more fun in a couple of weeks when the pollen calms and the flies F off! Drink to kill the bug pain😂 ps. I’m severely allergic to black flies and I swell like crazy. Lots of cortisone cream, benedryl before bed and drink lots of water. I bought a thermacell at Canada Tire last night, I’ll let you know how it goes. We have a bug smoker but I’d have to get in it to feel the effects.

My dog her name is Moonshine and she gets si jealous when I give attention to the cats I have. When it's Lady tgen Moonshine gives me a look because Lady well smack tge dog. When it's Buddy then it's I am going to stop this in any means possible. Yes, are dogs get so jealous over anything breathing.
