Im 25. Im not overweight and I stay pretty active. Ive never touched my toes in my life. Always about halfway down the shin. On a whim, I decided to youtube a video and I didnt even have a weight. I just did the stretch with a book under my toes, but thought maybe since ive NEVER touched them I would double the stretches on both sides and well, went for it and first try I not only touched them, but GRABBED UNDERNEATH MY FOOT.... Im shook. I seriously thought this was clickbait.

I’ve been researching and trying lots of RU-vid videos. I’m 45 trying to get fit. But still so stiff and can’t touch my toes. Until I just did want you said! I’ve just showed my family and done a happy dance!! So chuffed! ❤🎉
It really helps! From barely taping my fingers, I am able to tap the floor now. But I guess this is something you should keep practicing for better and permanent results.

I have been on this earth for 33 years and never once have I been able to bend over and touch my toes. I just googled "i can't bend over and touch my toes" and was presented this video. I thought it was bullshit but I dropped a box of 9mm ammo on the ground and grabbed a Bluetooth Sony speaker and did what the man said. Sure as shit I bent right over and touched my toes, my mind was confused but my body was liberated in that moment. Bless this man and protect him at all cost.

OMG… amazing, I haven’t touched the floor in well over40+ years. On my first try I was like 6-8” away from the floor. Then tried your process. Got me to about 3-4” away… then repeated for another set. Then poof, my fingers TOUCHED! Thanks 🙏🏼
i felt burning sensation/lil pain on my quadratus lumborum after this exercise, is that normal and is that because they are too tight? i cant touch my toes for yearsss
Oh wow I didn't quite touch my toes but I went from going roughly 2 inches past the knees to 2 inches away from the toes, That's incredible. Is this exercise just a temporary improvement or would this help for long term flexibility?
Just a temporary improvement, remember to continue doing this, also don't forget your hamstrings, they are just as important as your hip, try some hamstring stretches to reduce pain when bending and easier to touch your toes without ur knee bending
No 1 misconception. People touching their toes don`t bend their knees. It simply looks like they don`t but they do. Just Bend your knees a little bit and it becomes much easyer. Even in this video @2:07 he bends his knees vs when he did it the first time @1:16. Also it is not that much of an indicator for health how flexible your legs are. But much more is how flexible your hips and back/shoulders are.
As I 've read, to not be able to touch your toes means your arteries are hardening. During your annual physical, your doctor should ask you to do that.
That really make some improvement but its not sustainable. I felt curious about this "solution" and tried in the next minute after the explanation. I think I was away from the goal by 5 or 6 centimeters and right after the dumbbell stuff I was able to reach for 1 or 2 seconds before pain was unbearable. I would say its BS but its not. For that, thank you Sir.
