Can a band truly change your life? (Gacharic Spin - オドリオドレ REACTION) 

Gacharic Spin have been pivotal for my life, never found a band that has not only been so good for so long, but still kept pushing themselves in terms of creativity

Yes I imagined my head turns and eye swivels the same way as you trying to follow the music for the first time! 🤣 It definitely seems that BakuBaku will be the least crazy tune on this EP "Ace".....The Lead single "Let it Beat" has its premiere one week today including MV so I hope you'll be just as quick on the reaction for that one 🤞

Hey, that was fast LOL Your reaction was probably the same as all of us listeners had. Going in after 5 secs, there's already a modulation in the first part. The chord progressions are really unusual and not necessarily the most "melodic/harmonic" - ofc they do this by choice and this attack of musical ideas is like death by 1000 paper cuts :D Regarding you getting bored by most western music - I had the same feeling (and still have it) and GS is the epicenter of the earthquake that asian music has been for me :) btw: The rest of their new EP "Ace" is just as out their as this one :) btw2: Oh my, Koga, what have you done now !!!!!!!! I don't know if they have really changed my life as such. However, they have definitely changed the way I approach and appreciate music. As someone who is musically.. dumb, lets say. I can't play anything, even air guitar sounds out of tune! Before Gacharic Spin, music was just.. music. A song was a song and it sounded good, but I never paid too much attention to individual parts of it, or noticing things that stood out to me. But there's just so much fun, weird stuff that goes on in their songs that I just can't help it. One of the first "What the hell was that?" moments that stands out in my mind is.. whatever Tomo-zo is doing in at least the live version of "Frustration" at around 3:10 or so. I had no idea you could make a guitar sound like that, because it's bonkers. ..And now as a result, I've started hearing and finding things in songs I've heard hundreds of times in the past. So maybe they did change it more than I thought ;D

Keep in mind, GS started in 2009 and BAND-MAID started in 2013. Most important, BM has all original members. GS has three original members and Oreo joined in 2012. When bands can mesh like BM and GS have, anything is possible.

Well, as an OG subscriber I truly appreciate what you do and your passion, so we're all equal 😇 Just don't ever let me hear you babbling how much you 'love' all your subscribers, how 'deeply' you 'love every one of them' 🤯 Gods! - I hear it all the time and it's parasocial bullshit. Want to know why?
