Actually, I kinda recall that Ash released his charizard .... there was like a breeder I a mountain who breed only charizards ... and due to the fact that she got a female charizard which was stronger than ash’s ..... so they decided to came to agreement that charizard will stay with the other charizards in order to train and get stronger while ash continue his journey ... only to return to ash in a life or death situation to save him and stay with him

I've been playing Inclement Emerald and recieved an Ash-Greninja with Battle Bond ability as a mystery gift in the pokemon centre and absolutely love it lol

I would have used primeape instead of pikachu, since Ash also released to go train and be a professional pokemon boxer or whatever. But Ash didn't really have primeape for that long. And to the people saying he could have used squirtle , no because even though it's a firefighter with the squirtle squad, it's still under ash's ownership just like charizard when it went to train in the Charizific Valley. Plus squirtle comes back to help Ash fight pyramid king Brandon in the battle frontier, and charizard does as well. The only difference between the 2 is that charizard is at Oak's lab while squirtle is still a firefighter. Maybe Ambipom could have been an option. Even though it was dawn's pokemon when it went off to be a pokemon ping pong champion, Ash still caught it, so technicality.

Nice. I have been waiting for a new pokemon challenges from you. Just a suggestion, how about for the next challenge, play any pokemon games (preferably Emerald) with pokemons that Jessie and James used in the anime.

Did you know that ash’s greninja did not evolve till after the 7th gym this just show how unlikely it is for ash to use greninja

Ash does also give away/release his Squirtle, along with Ratticate, Beedrill, Seaking, and debatably Aipom & Primape

Ash kinda did Temporarily release Charizard, specifically to train in the Charisific Valley in Johto he came back for the League but the same is said for Goodra. Ash never destroyed their pokeballs so they could always come back.

I truly loved this, the fact that Butterfree and Pidgeot are supposed to be the weaker members actually got good victories. If Ash was not dumb maybe he could train Pidgeot well enough to be a secret power house instead of just being known to whirlwind Koffing's gases

I wonder if it possible to play a hardcore nuzlocke with sky battle pokemon only as the best sky trainer kalos and maybe as a "flying" and flying typ gymleader of kalos. You can use all flying types or pokemon with Levitate, there are a lot of cool pokemon you can use (flygon, Eelektross, jumpluff, gliscor and the list gos on and on)
