Fun Fact: The dude on the triangle at the start was only supposed to hit it once but miss-read the musical sheet and kept hitting it, and Offenbach liked it so much he kept it!
J'aime beaucoup Offenbach. C'est festif. En ce moment on en a bien besoin. Même le chef d'orchestre respire la joie de vivre. Je ne me lasserai jamais de ce morceau.
I enjoyed watching the conductor as much as I loved listening to the song. What a showman! He truly understands his orchestra and his audience very well.

I cannot stop watching this over and over; this conductor has a brilliant career ahead of him, as do these musicians. If he were my conductor back in high school, I'd be a professional clarinetist for sure these days! Thank you, Sir!
For the first time in my life, I become excited. Hand clappìng added new dimension. The audience became part of this great work of Art. The conductor is simply wonderfully mesmerizing!!
+TheQuadSquad dunno, I was watching game theory about some game called Destiny. I guess DESTINY lead me here. Ha guys get the joke? No? Huh, I'm 4ever alone
I love this performance I’m in band and we played this song in one of my concerts and honestly I’m proud of myself for doing so good and also my band members cause this song and performance made my day!
Actually it was used in an ad. Imagine iPhone users fighting with Android users in a wedding. That was a Windows Phone ad. The woman says in the ad, "#AutoCorrectThis". A few seconds later, the fight begins and this song starts to play at the second chorus. Full ad here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0-U4Yr9UNBo.html
When I listen to music like this I thank God for three things: 1. for creating people with musical talent to compose music like this 2. for creating musicians with the skill to play it and 3. for creating me with ears to héár it!
That's how I feel when I listen to Saint Saens Aquarium, Ravel's string quartet or any number of other works, but never Cancan. 😂 Glad you enjoy it, though. 👍
The audience participation made this truly joyous. It brought tears to my eyes as this was one of the earliest pieces of classical music that excited me to spinning motion as a six year old..... leading eventually to some ballet study at ages 8, 27 & 42. (I have to add that a high note was lacking in proper emphasis a couple of times near the ending.... first instance at 1:42 & repeated)
Sadie Cork That's just ignorance on the class' part. Just remind them that Franz Lizst, what with his monocle and cigarette, was the Justin Bieber of his day. Much as I do with my students.
XFreeZeX Gaming OMG! Same, I thought I was the only one who was frustrated about people and their kpop fandom, like I’m only interested i classical music.
Superb conductor, brilliant orchestra, excellent audience participation and appreciation!...this is how music should be played and enjoyed by all, what it was meant to be...what it was meant to do!..Bravo!...👏👍😊
I‘m always soooooo happy about hearing this piece, especially the chorus. It then means that we‘ve scored a goal. It‘s the goal song of VfL Bochum in our stadium. ⚪️🔵 Well done, everybody!!!
I've been hearing this music since i started watching looney toons and disney cartoons but i was amazed, dumbstruck and thrilled after i watched this.... beautifully conducted..... i cud stand on the highest peak of the world right now and applaud.... WOW..... a gazillion thumbs-up for this performance..... and one extra for the conductor..... :))
This is fantastic!!! This is one of my favourite compositions and this is the wickedest version I have ever seen!! The conductor is really tasty to watch, brilliant!! Next time, you can hire me to clap! I can clap in 7 languages :’)

I love the energy of the conductor and the orchestra, young and full of excitment. I love this song, and I always watch this video when I see it on RU-vid recommendations, congratulations.
