Edgy Veg I was watching this video on my TV while eating lunch and I almost made a big mess, I was not expecting the pink hair. Not into doing that myself, I'm old and weird enough without colored hair, but it is super cute on you! Super pretty, I applaud your ability and courage to take on such diverse looks. I tend to get stuck in a rut.
I love the pink hair its definitely you. I would love for you to veganize Krispy Kreme donuts. It's been almost 2 years. I Love being Vegan but I do miss the Krispy Kreme
I am not vegan but am a foodie & live in Toronto. I love your videos!! You are authentic, gorgeous & funny. I can't wait to watch your new videos every week.
I will only use store bought cheese for the topper. The body of my Mac and cheese will be a house made cheese sauce. I will use ground nuts for the crunchy top. Thanks for sharing.
1.) Candice, can we talk about how obsessed I am with this color and cut on you?! The fringe bangs and the color really compliment yours eyes. I am loving it! 2.) That looks absolutely delicious!
OB-SESSED with this hair color on you! I loved to do these beautiful pastels when I was working as a hairdresser. Absolutely gorgeous on you, Candice! Also I really love how this edited too; those food shots with the music were perfect. I’m just a few hours from you near Detroit and wish I could come have this with you! Looks amazing 😍🖤
1) You’re literally so gorgeous 👌🏼🙌🏼 2) I want to be buried in this Mac and cheese recipe, it’s been so long since I’ve had a Mac and Cheese that didn’t make me want to gag (Daiya) You and your friends taste test definitely convinced me that I’m making this for Thanksgiving, bless you for the recipe, can’t wait to make it! 😂❤️
Briellen Michelle we’ve got an amazingly delicious Brussel sprouts video coming out soon that’s perfect for thanksgiving. It was so good I’m still thinking about it
I made a modified version of this recipe from your blog and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! It seemed to good to be true but it was really good. Thanks!
Love this! Definitely need to try this one out, where do you find your vegan groceries? More particularly the beyond meat sausage? I’ve had a hard time finding them Lots of love ❤️
Yum! I eat the Beyond Meat Italian Sausages all the time. Great if your doing Keto! I use the grease left over to make my riced cauliflower. Don't need oil!
How did you slice your two onions? They look incredible. Food processor? Mandolin? I get extremely "teary" when working with onions. Just curious. Thanks, and I love this channel!
You did a great job replicating this recipe. And yes, I would like you to try to make it healthier by eliminating all the processed cheeses. And any other ingredients that can be substituted for healthier ones.
I would eat it but wouldnt make it myself... Vegan cheese is super expensive here in Hungary 😭 I love your videos though (my first comment on your channel, ever) 😅
The 2 things that I miss since going vegan 2 years ago are a nice Jewish Corned Beef on rye sandwich...with coleslaw and russian dressing. The kind that you get in a Jewish style deli in NYC. Ahhhhh. And then a proper fish and chips that I would get in London. Have any ideas for either of these delights? Thanks for what you do to inspire us vegans out here in non-vegan land.
1. Your hair is absolutely perfect! I want pink hair now. 2. Do you have a cheese recommendation to use instead of the Vegnature? I'm not able to buy this where I live in the US. :(
Hey Candice, ist es möglich, Sauerbraten zu veganisieren? In Kombination mit Klößen und Rotkohl, ist das für mich das perfekte Herbstessen. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
Jamie is a genius over here in the UK 🇬🇧 his meat free meals show he is airing at the moment is amazing. Its on channel 4, so you might be able to find it online somewhere?
Like the idea just wish I could find vegan cheeses I like but baked may help. Used to do a crunchy top with garlic, red onions, oil & bread crumbs I added to cooked pasta & grilled veg. It really helped the veg that was mushy crisp up & topping made them delicious. This does sound good, may have to test a range of vegan cheeses again. I am hungry now.
Thank you for the recipe I can’t wait to try it it sounds amazing up to this point I really haven’t found any vegan macaroni and cheese that I like though I will have to find something other than beyond meat as an ingredient because I don’t care for their products too many of them have a bit of an aftertaste at least for me anyway
Hey Candice, do you have any recommendations for unflavoured soy milks? I can't seem to find any that don't have at least a subtle added flavouring (usually vanilla) even if they are unsweetened. Love the hair and the new content!! 👍👍
Fiona Jackson I love Natura unsweetened original. Not a hint of sweetness. My big pet peeve is using an unsweetened soy milk in a savoury dish and tasting sweet when I don’t want it . Grrr ;)
@@whisperingbotanicals5304 interesting! I'll have to see if I can find that one. Usually I can only find Natura Original or Natura Unsweetened, both of which are flavoured.
love the hair .... wow that looked tasty ...vegan wins everytime n i saw that video n thought hmmm how could i veganize it ...n gave up hee hee now i can try it ...thanks
candice! i know baking isn't your #1 passion, but I'd love to see you make a vegan angel food cake. I'm talking like a real, tall, fluffly, airy angelfood. I've looked into it, and since they're usually made with an absurd amount of eggs, no one has been able to do a vegan version close to the original. i tried with aquafaba, and it turned out a mess. if anyone can figure it out, i feel like it's you!
I think I would not make the cheese bechamel with the onions in it. I would add the onions when putting together at the end.. don’t know about the mango chutney.. would definitely add the beyond sausage.
It looks amazing. Unfortunately if I ate like that I would be so fat. I have to stick to low fat sos free type stuff. Would be good to take to a pot luck though.
Can you omit the mango chutney? I don't like the idea of the mac & cheese being slightly sweet. Also I'm fairly new to your you tube channel, so have you ever done a vegan Thanksgiving spread?
J V V there are a bunch of older thanksgiving recipes on the channel that really helpful! Just search edgyveg thanksgiving! And you totally can, it did taste quite with it, but by all means leave it out
@333 333 Yes and a lot of them are accidently vegan, because whith a lot of the pastes they sell at the markets they dont include the broth, you add that later. Of course they normally cook chicken in them. But I dont mind because I am not completely vegan.
instead of going hard on the vegan cheeses i might mess around with adding the caramelized onion, mustard, chutney, and worcestershire sauce to my regular cashew cheese. and definitely that topping heeeelllll yea
Bobby Flat has a flourless chocolate cake that involves 6 eggs and 3 sticks of butter. I would love it you would tackle that. Here is a link to the recipe. It is absolutely heaven, just not vegan.
We need to figure out a way that people can taste what u make in ur videos 🤣 maybe u could beam it to us? Or we could lick the screen ? Idk but we NEED to figure it out. Looks good but I don’t wanna get off my lazy but and make it myself 😂
Not gonna lie, that's an alarming amount of onions. OK, let's go . . . . Huh, turned out pretty delectable looking. It's mac n' cheese, but like a deluxe, rarebit-style mac n' cheese for a casual dinner party, rather than a weeknight meal. TFP!
