This would have been a lot more interesting if you could only like play it and only feel the neck/fretboard/hear it. They mostly have very distinct shapes to at least certain parts of them, so I'm not at all surprised you could tell which ones they were by _feeling the whole guitar's shape including the headstock like you were reading braille and mapping out the whole thing with your hands..._ lol.

a better challenge would be to only play the guitars rather than touch them everywhere, most of them had specific physical elements that enable you to recognize it very easily, but if you're only allowed to play it (so only touch the strings and the fretboard) i think it'd be a more interesting challenge

Jared, love the idea for going to guitar center or some other guitar shop and just feeling some random guitars. Do it!

My only guitar is a 2007 SG in cherry red. First guitar, only guitar I'll ever really feel comfortable on. Action is exactly where I want it, I swapped the bridge pickup myself, and I played my first show with it. Had it for 3 years and I'm never gonna sell it. Plays like a dream.

Dude the S8QM is my favourite guitar ever! I wish you used it a bit more in your videos. I used to go and try it each time i visited a music store to buy strings for my six string RG, but they eventually sold it, good times... good guitar.

Hey Jared I know you’ve probably answered this before but what’s the best way to actually get further as a guitarist? I was learning from a close friend and he passed in February and now I’m stuck on where to look to learn more( I know it sounds dumb and lazy) I’ve learned the basic chords and can play most newer and a lot of older country, but I wanna learn to play stuff like Amon Amarth and such. I guess more leads. Stuff like the scales and music theory? Any advice would be greatly appreciated my dude! Love your videos!

It is so easy. You just touch every single part. Try it like rob chapman, only play it and check the feel of the neck and body. No touching, someone else will change the switch position and vol/tone knobs.
