The 2023 Carnon Classic was a brilliant Cycling Stage Race hosted by Wheal Velocity and Penzance Wheelers at Wheal Jane in Cornwall. One of the last tin mines that closed in Europe in the 1990s.
A 60 minute circuit race on day one, followed on day two with a 1.3km Hill Climb and at hilly 14km Time Trial?
This was without a doubt one of the most enjoyable events I've done on the road, a great atmosphere all weekend.
Apologies for lack of footage from the childrens racing, Meike has done a phenomenal job as always to capture as much footage as possible, but to also ask every parent for permission whilst looking after our two children is simply impossible.
