It was a dark and stormy night and the great Walrus was hopped up on Red Bull and Nyquil. In a fit of madness he did the undoable and fit not 3, not 4, but 5 K26's into a single blaster! Then, with a feat of strength that would make Chuck Norris give a thumbs up, he primed, loaded, and fired the blaster. The ensuing shock wave created by the passage of the BoomCo dart tore a hole in reality. When the Gods repaired the damage they reworked reality so that the laws of physics would never again allow this to happen. And that is why this is impossible. You could fit 3 k26s in an M6 pistol...but you would be able to get about 1/2 in of compression so it would never be able to prime.
dmdz What you said wasn't quite correct. He did put three springs in a Halo blaster (it was actually a Plasma Pistol), but they weren't three K26s; they were three stock Farshot springs. He did also put K26 in an M6, but it was only one spring. Just clearing that up.
The Farshot line is among the few blasters that I'd recommend removing the safety mechs on. They act as a bleed-off valve and allow air to escape out of the side rather than going all the way down the barrel. Hot gluing them shut gives you a significant performance boost when using an upgraded spring. You can easily hit 110-120 FPS with K26 and a plugged dart detector. Since it's a single-shot, dry-firing isn't really a risk unless you can't count to 1.
Can your beastly computer set up that obliterates every other scrublord in everything ever take a k26? Ps can I take a k26? Mind send a full piece for optimal performance my dark overlord sir?
Also, it's worth noting that the Brute Spiker, in addition to the Marine SMG and Covenant Carbine, are all essentially Dynamags. I'm not sure that they're entirely identical, but close.
IMO the Boomco M6 is my personal favorite Nerf/Boomco/Buzzbee Pistol of all time. Even when stock, it is extremely accurate, has decent range, is extremely comfortable, and has storage for 5 darts. It feels well built and solid too, and I personally love the handguard. When modded, it's worthy enough to be a long range primary since it almost always his the target, because the Boomco darts are so much better than Nerf darts. Also I'm a huge Halo fan, so I love the Magnum in general.
Nice video Chaylo, amused me, unfortunately I can't take a K26, but I can consume many Twiglets (U.K. Snack food). That's very cool, I'm a big Halo fan from the Xbox original and knowing the M6 Magnum Pistol will take a K26 is great. I might get some BOOM Co. Halo blasters that I can use, rather than just put on display, because stock, they are awful PS: Nice appearance from Walcom. Keep up the great work guys!
...why? It is a FarShot reskin...it a relevant...and true...and kinda funny All that "jolt reskin" garbage is neither relevant, true, or funny anymore. :P
Me: *sees batman blaster and thinks this is too nerdy for me* Also me: *hears Walcom doesn't wanna learn how to syncrosummon* Um excuse me? Syncrosummoning is easy, all you need to do is have a tuner monster on the field and have the total level of all your monsters equal the level of the synchro monster you're trying to summon. Then you get into pendulum summoning and link summoning............
Lets say I want SOME extra power in my Boomco blasters, but I dont necessarily want to significantly reduce it's lifespan either, is there a spring size I can look for thats kinda in between the k26 and the default spring?
Darn, the covenant blasters I could have used for scrap/springs went down to 5 bucks or so on amazon but by the time I could afford them they were back up in price. Also missed the brute spikers on mattel for 3 bucks a while back because the shop was having technical problems. Tempted by the 4 dollar far shots on Mattel's page but the shipping is too much, and they haven't given me any of the free shipping codes they promised in their promotionals -_-
a camping trace spring, they are the light, medium, heavy gauge springs that rope is tied to when setting up big tents. just have to cut off the wire in them.
yeah Spectre's nerf workshop my buddy Liam actually put in a 25KG spring into his Hyper shadow Mk2 which had hold leaf paintwork and he doubled the aluminum bars on his damn Xplorer grip thinking it would break the bars if he didn't reinforce it
Nonsense. It was throwing a fit because the Brute Spiker was "prettier" and refused to come out of its trailer. Bloody prima dona BoomCo blasters. This is why no one likes them...
I'm surprised that all the boomco blasters listed took the K26. for the next episode, what about the ratcheting ones, like the whipblast, the flipbow, and the breakflip? I dunno if the gears could take it, though. you could even test the ratchet blast, from the Cyber strike line from NERF.
i saw the blue and green blaster in the thumbnail and though of the spinsanity. i know thats not a springer, but i was curious anyway. oh well. silly me
...good lord that Spiker is gonna be bonkers if he does the clip mod for it to get extra power outta them..I'd HATE to get hit by a Boomco dart from that Spiker after a K26 and clip mod.
Was going to make a comment about a nitefinder reskin. But i wanted to ask about can you try the new accustrike rifle when it comes on the market, because its really cool.
I have some some FPS readings of before and after...but as I put little stock in FPS readings I quit bothering...also I can never seem to remember to get the "before" FPS...
Thanks for showing off how well made boomco blasters are made(I know people with 20kg springs in the magnum for example), it's a pity you didn't show any fps or range tests though.
Yeah, I forgot to do the "before" tests (I didn't even own a chrono when I did the M6...I filmed that on a long time ago) so I didn't bother. They are better than stock. Beyond that? Meh. :P
Sure I get that :) I was mostly interested in more youtubers showing some of the good things about the boomco line since they seem to have gotten the cold shoulder from most and may not be around much longer thanks to it.
@@CaptainXavier darn. I was hoping there was some kind of trick to it... I've broken 3 now. Thankfully I'm now very proficient at fixing broken M6 slides...
