Well, i imagines that possibly to trigger this bad ending, perhaps it could happens if Shirou for some reason, chooses wait another more day before to assault the chruch, than go to the plan inmediately, leading to that Caster has an extra day to still torture Saber, and she can manages to break Artoria through all her tortures, bending her to Caster's will, making that Artoria become full obedient to Medea, and undone her previous vows, to makes a new ones, in that she accept serves Caster from now on until that the death can separates them. And once that Shirou and Rin came into the church the next day, they will be attacked by a mentally broken Saber, who will kills Rin quickly, to after injures fatally Shirou and after tortures him slowly, for dared to threat her beloved mistress, leaving that Shirou dies painfully, while he is looking Saber sporting an insane smile, like an obsessed yandere. And the last thing that he saw before to dies, is Saber and Caster kissing each other.

Funny thing is, death's name is described as Thanatos and even Azrael which is the angel that Gramps' abilities stem from as a bearer of the rite of death. I real life there are the Shinigami in japanese myth, greek myth has Thanatos (and gods of death in general), phenomena like the wild hunt, the day of the dead, and even figures like ghost rider I think had there origins as death bringers. Already in fate there is King hassan with the skull mask and ability to kill anything and items like the mystic eyes of teeth perception. The abilities power level skills phantasm ect would be completely dependent on the writer in fact death might be such a powerful concept a true grim reaper is more likely to be a elemental or nature spirit. It depends most gods are to powerful to be summoned so they have to lower there divinity lowered to an amount suitable for a servant. Then they have various ways of being summoned sum hijack other servants like orion and artemis, most others like Ishtar and Parvati use a avatar(someone else's body) to be summoned. Also divinity is a stat that comes in different levels for different reasons. hercules is ½ god, i think gilgamesh is ⅔ god, and others get various levels of divinity most likely because they thought or claimed to be born of the gods like Iskander and Cleopatra and others get it from there spiritual/religious practices. David has divinity because Jesus would have come from his lineage and Xuanzang has divinity because in the journey to the west she is the reincarnation of one of the buddha’s students who had reached enlightenment.

@@leslierahming1483 Because of how Norse Mythology works, the Norse "Gods" aren't actually full on gods. They're Aanir and Vaanir, all of them are hardy, tough but not indestructible. Even Thor almost died to a Giant and he's considered among the Biggest of Big Deals.

Thats true and also my memory might be wrong but in the fate canin the norse “gods” for lack of a better word are dead because of the whole ragnarok thing. Unlike most other pantheons whose gods people just stoped worshiping the norse gods are full on dead and while most writers probably wont take this into account the real life 2 main sources for norse mythology are either incomplete or a post christian interpretation so by fate’s own standards most norse deities and the powers that come from them will most likely be weaker than others because of there relative lack of mystery. in reality the strength of any norse related(or anything for that matter) up to the writers in prisma illya show (i didn't watch but i herd) one character used a thor/magne clas card and they were pretty strong. One of the lostbelt’s Surtr was the main antagonist and he was said to have fire so hot that he was able to burn textures of reality away. @@demod2080

Kirei in fate route wants the same thing as HF, he's just going about it differently as the story plays out differently. After the events of Fate/Zero and witnessing Kiritsugu's confrontation within the grail, Kirei's soul objective is to allow the birth of angry mango to happen. He sees himself in angry mango as they are both born to do evil deeds, however Kirei has grown up being told that its wrong and despising that part of himself, he feels guilty and like he is a mistake. If angry mango is born, without being told whats good or bad, and doesn't feel guilt about the destruction it causes, Kirei will find salvation in himself knowing his existence is not an error Gilgamesh in UBW wants to eradicate all insignificant life on earth in his eyes, as he feels the majority of the population of the current world is useless and without purpose
