I always found it interesting when Doc Wallach, an animal researcher for decades, stated that the one way they could guarantee premature white hair in animals...most often mice, is copper deficiency. So, in my previous practice, when I saw premature white hair, all I could think was they will likely die young or suffer a heart attack as low copper is also very closely associated with atherosclerosis as copper, along with vitamin C are what predominantly hold the three layers of the arterial walls together. Chances are, when you eat something copper rich, supplement your hair will start to darken or get darker. I am 56 and have virtually no grey and get plenty of copper via diet. All The Best! T

If anecdotal evidence means anything. I'm 48 now. I've been taking NMN, TMG, Fisetin, B complex, folic acid, Quercetin...for 2 years. Every day for 2 years. Completely reversed my menopause. Went from no period, and all menopausal symptoms to NO menopause and my full regular periods are back. And have stayed. But no.... I have more grey hair than ever. Not one single change with the gray hair. 💜 it's not just about periods. NMN reverses your biological age. The age of your body. Can take a decade off if not more. So you're aging backwards. That effects your entire body and how it works. So there are many more benefits than what's being discussed here.

@@sustainablelife1st wrinkles and grey hair? I didnt say anything about wrinkles. Who cares about wrinkles or grey hair? Menopause is a WHOLE LOT MORE than wrinkles and grey hair. You'll see when you start! Your entire body goes through changes...hormones, chemicals...its painful and horrible. Can be debilitating. Menopause which can take years....is WAY WORSE than a period. And NMN does much more than reverse menopause... it takes years off of your biological age. It makes your body and physiology younger and healthier to put it simply. Somehow you focused on grey's and wrinkles and periods and that's the LEAST of what NMN does for the body and longevity. And HEALTH. Which is really the most important thing. 🙏
There is no scientific evidence that NMN increases collagen in the skin or reverses graying (if there were I would expect the links would be included in your notes). NMN does not increase NAD levels in the blood steam any more than simple nicotinamide (100mg twice a day) which is much cheaper. So any benefits that may at some point become apparent from NMN, we can get from nicotinamide. As far as the research goes, the best way to increase NAD levels is intermittent fasting, regular exercise and nicotinamide 100mg twice a day. And don't eat processed food, manage stress and insomnia because these deplete NAD. There's no need to buy an expensive supplement with low bioavailability just because the young biochemist says so!
@@tokyodoru The study I read about NMN toxicity was specifically for doses well above those that are recommended. So, while it definitely still needs more human studies, so far the evidence suggests that, when taken at recommended doses, it’s entirely safe.

Well I can tell you this my wife and I have been together for over 30 yrs. I use to help dye her hair in her 40s She stopped in 2017. Her hair remained un-dyed since. We both took nmn and resveratrol in 2019. She has a colour in her hair today that is very different from her natural colour of blonde or dirty blond. Well at64 she has nearly no gray and it's more brown of variations of brown. In the winter it has slightly more gray then say spring summer. She stopped taking nmn and resveratrol in 2020 her hair remains this new brown and 10 yrs or more in appearance. I took nmn as a hail mary for the health demons I've been plaqed with liver & skin cancer with little to know energy in fact I had grayish skin on ashen. I can easily walk any grade 30+ km per week I can sprint, and I don't look in anyway like I'm sick. (Full disclosure I'm not saying I'm cured ). What I am saying is I can run when I couldn't for most of my adult life. I can walk seemingly without wanting to stop. I've changed so much that I've stopped driving to anyplace that's within 5-10 km it's weird but I look forward to running errands or to pick up my teen daughter from her after school occupation. My skin became colorful my male patter baldness remains but the hue is completely like my 20s. My skin cancer has gotten smaller. I haven't taken anything for over a yr the benifits remain . I turned 60 in 2022 and my energy is that of late 20s- 30s. This seems I know impossible and yet it's 100% true. I don't know what folks are looking for in life - I know this my late 40s and now 60 is the best I've felt in 30 yrs. I hope some of this helps anyone who is hoping there are ways to feel younger better skin better energy with no gitters like caffeine drinks, better joint relief. More control of coordination more life. Don't give up talk with different kinds of people with different diseases see what there Jonny has brought them. I faced a few traumas, shocks to the body, and illness all at the same time and went bald as a women, through prayer filled faith and scripture study overwhelming peace from God and it all grew back and grew back healthier and no longer with grays. I followed a strict protocol of NMN for 6 months. I did not experience hair growth or return of hair color. The only cosmetic changes I saw was a disappearance of a mole on my face. But I need to mention that I was also taking a prescription retinoid at the time. I did feel an increase in energy levels, but there no significant changes in blood work. I may try it again in the future, but it’s very expensive when your taking it in high doses.

Interesting. From 22 months experience of taking NMN, but with no medical knowledge I would like to add my views: Can NMN reverse grey hair...yes but it takes a very long time, and what about skin ageing...yes, incredible results that are always boosted within 20 minutes of taking my daily 1g. I know from looking around that NMN works differently on everyone and my anaology without medical knowledge is NAD top ups are selective, either those cells that need it the most are repleted first or those that are easier to top are repleted first, either way results are different for everyone who takes it, but all cells will benefit with repeated use. In 2013 I was 51 and commonly mistaken for 63. By the end of 2020 I'd had numerous mini-strokes, angina, heart disease and some people wouldn't even come near me, I looked absolutely dreadful. I was on a high dose of Isorbide mononitrate for angina, blood thinners, statins etc, I couldn't make it to my front gate without angina meds, spray or tabs, now I can go days without either and do at least three times as much as before without getting an attack. I understand how you feel, chronic stress has had my hair falling out by handfuls. My hairline has receded by inches on both sides. Constant stress will kick cortisol release into overdrive, & has SO many horrible side effects. Constant stress can literally kill a person. I have a friend who turned completely gray in her 20's. She very regularly dyed her hair, so it was not really a topic of conversation. One day, we were discussing her pre-mature gray hair. She said her father had the same exact issue, also going completely gray in his 20's. I met her father when he was in his mid 90's and he had a full head of thick gray hair that looked amazing. When he passed away at 102 years old, he still had that thick gray hair. Apparently, gray hair is not a good measure of somebody's biologic age, but more likely due to genetic factors.

But where's the niacin vs NMN or NR study? Both are (expensive) metabolites of niacin and niacin will increase NAD+ and is dirt cheap. May be (need data!) less efficient than NMN/NR, for increasing tissue levels of NAD+ (also likely age dependent...) but simply taking higher dose of niacin may still do the trick.
Hello. Do you know if NMN has been studied in patients with Hashimoto or Graves disease? I have had hyperthyroidism in the past, once solved with diet and intense acupuncture only, the second time I needed a therapy of methimazole for 10 months. Now I am in remission for 2 years, am taking nothing else than vitamins/minerals. I am so interested in NMN, but am affraid of it in a sense that some study, for example, showed resveratrol (although also being marvelous and anti-aging) has some bad interference with thyroid. So I want to make sure NMN does not work through certain pathways that might stimulate the thyroid in a bad way. I would be so happy if yoi have some answers or thoughts for me :).

NMN also helps to reset your age, as well as Resveratrol, NR according to the Harvard Dr. Sinclair who is also his own testimony of age reversing along with his dad.

Dr Sinclair’s research discovered that the NAD (even liposomal) molecule is too large for it to enter the cell easily. His research indicates that NMN (liposomal is best) can enter the cell easily and thus is more effective than NAD
This would be so easy to prove and I'm hearing about it all over youtube but nobody is actually showing some hair attached to a person's head that is grey at the end and colored at the root.😐

Copper chelate as other mineral chelate is 5 times more biologically active. Copper is a mineral that is essential for the health of the hair and skin, and it is thought to play a role in the production of melanin, the pigment that gives hair its color. Also as much exercise you do, the faster you do run out of minerals.
I know someone who had thinning hair, started going bald in the middle of his head. He started taking NMN for other reasons, but discovered that after about six months, the follicles that stopped growing hair had started to grow again. The strand of hair were very thin compare to the other hair, but it started growing again. After about another six months, I'd say about 50% of his bald spot has regrow with these thin, almost baby-like hairs. Very interesting
