Salt alternatives like sendha namak and kaala namak do not give same cooking taste as regular white salt because of which many High blood pressure patients fail to cut doen there sodium intake.
Why we want to cut salt if we have blood pressure?
Salt is Nacl or Sodium chloride. If you take too much salt, sodium ntake will also be high.
How much salt can I take?
Depending on your blood pressures your salt intake will be anywhere to 5gm to 2.5gm per day (1 to 1/2 spoon per day inclusing all meals)
How much sodium can I take the whole day?
Depending on your blood pressures your sodium intake will be anywhere to 2.5 to 1.5 per day.
