I'll try to be brief: I've watched versions of triumph and even if not at the moment, at least after a second or third or fourth or hundredth... watch I have an idea of not the solution on what was done and how. With yours? No, sir, I have absolutely no idea. Nothing on the stage is for nothing, after the selection and mixing the only time you could have done something was ruined with you showing the other side of the deck and. And... I've seen good ones. I've seen great ones. I've seen amazing ones. But this, this one leaves me simply speechless for it is just not possible. Wow.
Not only were both your fool us tricks incredible, you are an amazing performer to watch! Super happy and positive, one of my favorite performers ever on fool us!
Uhm.. and now i realize this was your OWN channel. So by guy i mean of course you, Christian. Sorry about that. Please do a Finland tour including Lapland. 🎉
It's quite strange how little respect is given to magic and magicians in Finland. In our country, magicians are almost always associated with children and their parties. With your skill and presence, you would certainly be a big name anywhere else. Well, once again you managed the "near impossible", to fool P&T! Greetings from Turku and have a successful journey in Vegas!
What?! Some may not know, but the 3 of clubs is on P&T's tombstone! Yes, the card that Brooke randomly picked has a long association with Penn & Teller. So that inside joke BLEW ME AWAY! After 58 years in magic, I have never seen this clean on-the-table ribbon spread force! It simply seems impossible. This routine successfully returned the wonder to an old magicians heart. Thank you, Christian Engblom!
The "presumptious claim" of doing the impossible really had me skeptical, but damn, was that impressive. I was sure you were going to be a fooler. It was so beautifully done. And such a great charisma. Props for Brooke as well for great charisma and being a great host.
Im trusting that there was no editing or skipped video of the critical 5-10 seconds when you pick up the 2nd spread and when the deck is squared on the table. I've been practicing the very basic version of this trick without a gimmick deck. As soon as I see the natural crease in the deck, I'm like, "Hold on"! Didn't see the move whatsoever. And I don't replay in slow motion, that's cheating. I did replay that moment three times and will say your version is the one others will be obsessed on out doing. Congratulations 🎉
I dont think anyone has said this but Christians patter and his talking is absolutely top tier, best magician ever! Would love if you performed in toronto
I was looking for your previous Fool Us video but couldn’t find it until this one popped up on my feed. I didn’t remember your name. Your technique is surreal. 🙌🏼
I love that so many classic tricks are being recreated with different methods. That trick alone has been on the show several times, with all different methods, and a few have fooled P&T (Kostya Kimlat being a memorable one). So clean, so much fun to watch, and so thrilling to see the "other side"
Amazing Chrstian. I still remember when we played inTurku Trojans and we were at away game in seinäjoki. You took your Red mini carpet and showed me one of your tricks about 25 years ago. You have accomplish so much! Great for you and amazing performanssi yet avain. You are the champ!
He knew the card and the location, we even saw it but he hid it last second. But I still have no idea how he made all the cards face the same way except hers 😆 this stuff blows my mind
Every time I've watched you i was fooled, I've so many things of your material and I think you're incredible. I meet you in person many times also at 2015 FISM in Italy when I was shocked about your performances at the stand. Congratulation again Chris ! Hope to see you again soon
@@TheBigFinnish I was looking for someone in the comments to tell me what a " breather " is before I Google it, as Penn suggested, and I'm guessing that this is what your talking about. So a bent card is a breather since it lets an airspace between the cards? Beautiful trick!
I really enjoyed this beautiful trick. Your previous one was the best. I have no idea how you did this. Just magic. Better is I dont know how it is done so that I can enjoy more. I like also ACAAN trick from Dani. Love from India.
Man I have to say that your other trick in this show is one of my favorites, been watching it for years and this one is taking the same path! PS: Great "a big Finnish" reference!
I'm just a layperson, but I'm usually able to at least see some suspicious hand movements. This just happened and I didn't notice a thing. Such a smooth unpretentious performance!
Oh, at first I thought the three of clubs was a force because _of course the three of clubs is a force on Fool Us_ , but that would've probably been somewhat extraneous, and.. probably?... required a risky deck switch, which seems just too much work just to tease Penn and Teller with their favourite forced card; it doesn't seem like a force would be at all _useful_ here. So maybe that was just pure coincidence.
There must be a deck swap in 4:11 under the table which was done brilliantly. That explains how a mixed clean deck turned into the ending deck. But how the signed card travelled to the mid of the second one...no idea. Also in the first deck the wing bottom cards were placed.in the mid of it.. he shows one of them while holding them for a bit in the air but not the other....
This is a really great trick! Thanks for putting on such a great performance. btw I was wondering if this was a re-upload because I remember watching this not too long ago.
I sent this to my friend with the text TORILLE! or TORILLE? You have to watch it to know. For non-Finns: Whenever anyone in Finland does something that's cool anywhere abroad, we need to swarm a market square (tori) in the center of our capital Helsinki and, for some reason, risk damaging a priceless fountain sculpture. Well done/bra jobbat/hyvin tehty, Christian.
@@AleksiJoensuu pääasiassa esiinnyn tilauksesta, mutta näin epävirallisesti voin paljastaa että toivottavasti jo ensi vuonna saisin yhdenmiehen showni valmiiksi Suomen kiertuetta ajatellen.
Congratulations! And a shame that the show never mentioned that you're a 2nd time fooler! (Looking at your older permance, it's painfully clear that Brooke Burke still has a long way to go to fill Alyson Hannigan's shoes.)
I brought this effect a few years ago, but found it too difficult to get right... after seeing this i think its time to get it back out of the bottom drawer
Wicked cool sir! I know this is going to be a far-fetched request, but if you ever happened to come to Dallas and by chance remember this comment, can you drop a reply and let me know you're coming?!?!?!
It has been a few years since did a lecture for the magicians in Dallas, and would love to come back someday. It will happen if I get a booking to perform/lecture there again in the future. 🥰
Moi Kippis! okay my finnish ends here but for the trick I think there is a verbal misdirection saying this trick is a triumph. If I could figure out it looks like some oil and water spilled over this triumph 😁
Oil and water have similar characteristics to triumph. The difference is that in triumph, the cards flip over, while in oil and water routine they glide through each other so that the colors separate.
@@TheBigFinnish I meant I thought you used the move in the oil and water variant I know to pull this triumph but always can be wrong. Great effect regardless. Much love from turkey
It was very good and I'm definitely not a magician. But when. He showed the other side was mixed , he also saw the 3 of clubs had the signature. How it's done, I have no idea. But I'm thinking that knowing what card was the one helped.
