Claudia Colombo, an aesthetician and wellness expert with over 20 years of experience, offers a $500 "vampire" facial that promises younger skin through various steps, which include a long facial massage, micro-needling, and a bright-red goji berry jelly mask. The vampire facial, aka "fountain of youth facial," can supposedly give filler-like results, plump the skin, and help fill in lines and wrinkles. We followed a client through the facial to see if Claudia's "powerhouse ingredients" and "lifting and toning techniques" can turn back the clock on mature skin.

I’ve seen a few people say that they called it a “vampire facial” because it is red. It is actually called “vampire facial” because vampires stay young for a long time. This mask is supposed to make you look younger, like a vampire. So the name makes sense. There is another “vampire facial” Where people are drawing blood from your own skin and injecting it back into your face. This was the original “vampire facial”. Your welcome lol

A lot of the comments say: "um u can't even see the difference it's a scam" maybe you can't see it. But the person that got it might feel different, I bet she knows her skin better than you. @@jordanm6685 What? You can still get micro-needling pretty much anywhere, you can even buy the tool and do it yourself at home now. There is no "Bloody thing" going onto your face. It's your own blood. The roller tears your skin so it bleeds.

There was a study where they monitored two groups. Group one-expensive lotions and creams. Group two- drank lots of water each day. At the end they compared the results and group two had better results in their face. And all in all looked younger.

I’m an avid water drinker, and extremely youthful looking (mid twenties but looks like a minor). I can promise water is not my “secret technique” to being younger looking, water is for my body health. “Drink water” isn’t a skincare tip, most people who have skincare issues are already hydrated. In reality, what gives me my youthful appearance and likely into old age is largely my genetics, as it runs in the family, and my strict adherence to preventative skincare which has a lot of peer reviewed studies to back prevention of skin damage as a way to avoid aging.

For 500 a Radiofrequency and Microneedling Combination Facial with Microdermabrasion would have been way more worth it because it actually creates continuous benefits vs a one-week glow.

Some people don’t really like injections because as the name suggests you are injecting something into your body. I think with facials it also makes you feel so much better compared to not be able to feel your forehead which is what Botox does...all in my opinion of course🙂

Yeah, the fact that this woman named it "the vampire facial" is extremely misleading. The already well-known "vampire facial" is very specific procedure using the patients own blood. It's one of the most expensive facials out there, but this woman is using crushed up berries instead. Truth in advertising, this is not.
