this was much, much better than the previous attempt, the only thing is that you could retract the radiators in a prolonged battles

I was able to kill three motherships with green phasers fairly easily. But you definitely need to come at them from different angles. My experience was that pure phaser builds did pretty well. But I had such interlocking point defense that the only damage the mothership really did was from plasma guns. All those horrifying torpedoes didn’t even make it into my full defense array. They were gunned down by all the phaser systems. But yeah. Anything less than Green Phasers? I wouldn’t try in a laser build.

The pulse fission engines are nice. Bit expensive on the fuel though. Lots of fissiles.

Are coilshots/railgun shots even visible?

If you want to smash it, just go for advanced missile warfare and spam nukes at it.

Thank you for posting this video. Can you set the Green Phaser Cannons to offensive fire and point defense? So they shoot at the incoming mag rounds from the mothership.
