Your videos are very interesting and I wish you well in your venture. I hope you don't mind that I ask you a question? I teach statistics, in schools and at a university and I'm coming close to retirement from the classroom. I'm very interested in finding work after teaching in data analysis but am often a little intimidated by the job descriptions. I wonder if I am mistaken to think this way. Your video was a very clear and thoughtful discussion but I'm inferring from what you said that you are talking to people already in the industry! Your discussion is very basic and the topics you list in your book pretty standard, the only one I don't teach myself is ANOVA. Your video reminds of a little tuition job I did about twenty years ago. It was at Ford Financial Europe and with their credit risk team. The heads of the department were excellent mathematicians but the team were, while hard working and smart, pretty ignorant of statistics and they were doing data analysis I won't be looking for anything high powered or even well paid (I'm fortunate enough to be expecting a reasonable pension) but I would be grateful if you had any comments or suggestions.
