Turns out that beating roach race is more difficult than storming the arasaka tower, the dude from the game with the high score should have his own drink in afterlife even if they're alive. That's a feat even the legendary V couldn't achieve
@@moonknightish the game is also named after geralds horse and the girl catching the horse is supposed to be ciri the whole game is a witcher easter egg its also pretty likely that the high score holder is literally ciri because she dimension travels a lot
I accidentally did it without perks my first play through, because I didn’t know what I was doing lol Also I played it at Like 20 fps until like the very end
To be fair, there are so many cheesy things in the game, at normal difficulty you could win by just having a Grad sniper rifle. Use ping, headshots through walls.
Something I've always wanted to see, can you beat Cyberpunk without killing anybody? You can destroy robots, drones, and vehicles (in the scripted driving segments), but you must use non-lethal takedowns, quick-hacks, weapons, and avoid finishing off downed enemies.
Target Analysis cyberware mod for eyes makes all weapons non-lethal at the cost of no additional headshot damage and smart weapons primarily targeting limbs. Alternatively, the Pax weapon mod makes a gun non-lethal and adds 3% damage. So yeah, easily doable as long as you're choosy about what grenades you use and careful in some situations where an enemy doesn't collapse completely when they run out of HP, as the extra shot or two will kill - which has happened to me while trying to stop all the cyberpsychos without killing them.
@stonhinge your supposed to not kill the cyber psychos anyway, Regina tells you not to so she can study them and try to kill them. You also get paid more
I only found you recently but I love the videos man. Keep doing what you're doing and realize that dream that so many of us have but so few ever achieve!
I know you addressed keeping it vanilla in the video but a true level 1 no attributes/perks run would be super interesting. There's a mod out there that lets you adjust xp gain and I assume you can just set it to 0 so there's no need to use the console like your 1 HP video. Keep up the great videos bro!
Still really impressed on how professional these videos are for a youtuber your size and the motivation to do these type of videos if even the game is no longer main stream, keep up the work.
If you want to switch Skippy to headshoting, without shooting 50 knees, you can just switch Skippy to headshots straightaway after picking up, and then you need to put a Pax modification in the Skippy, it makes your weapon non-lethal, so enemies would be just knocked out, not killed
I just did a netrunner run and wow, having only 10 body is so limiting in the end. And doing the secret ending was a challenge, but I did pull it off, and it's nice that they do put down a save game before Adam time.
this is technically how i beat my first playthrough :p remember seeing all the cyberware and perks and getting stressed from it and just saying "ill be fine without it..." played on normal and this was near launch when most stuff was quite easy to beat but still a good challenge + i played on normal :p props on doing it on very hard cant imagine that.
your content is so underated you deserve more subscribers, not a lot of youtubers do this type of stuff and its a good thing i found your channel because its fun to watch
Man, Im such a sucker for watching challenge runs like this. Also, Phantom Liberty about to be ballerrrrrr, also in terms of glitches, Im a huge fan of them too my guy, dont sweat it. Before Starfield dropped all my friends were like "but its Bethesda, you know that game gonna be broken, why buy it on release?" I legit look forward to buggy games like Cyberpunk and any Bethesda title, just one of those things that can easily bring joy as long as its not game breaking lol.
Glad I'm not the only one that talks to the in game NPC's in games like thus, and responds to them XD I've had some fun convos with them lol. Best is when you first play things and say stuff to them, not knowing their lines.... And they respond to your character afterwards and it fits XD
Ok.. this was great, and i've already seen a few of your other runs / vids over the past few months... Yeah, gonna have to sub now, quality is just always there!
So much humor, love it! I could comment on so many things but I don't want to write an essay. :) I just love your CP content, always worth watching from start to finish. (EDIT: auto correct is always auto wrong so fixed a few words)
Hey man I just found your channel and I can tell you these are some genuinely very high-quality videos, if you keep going with this I almost guarantee you you’ll take off.
I am new to this game and love some of the spoilers. Nice run. It would have been fun to see you spend all your points in the epilogue or as an encore.
i refuse to believe u didnt bribe youtube to hide 1-3 0s in your sub count bc your stuff feels so increbidly high quality. randomly found you and i am so glad i did
Found your channel through the starter gun cyberpunk video and really enjoying all the content. Also a very firm handshake of the neck for the chocking section maybe?
05:13 Running out of jokes, you say? Allow me to help: "Watch Yorinobu pull a Keanu Reeves and take his father's breath away." "Watch Yorinobu make his father so proud that he's choked up." "Watch Yorinobu find the mute button on his father." "Watch Yorinobu infect his father with FOXDIE." (If you were to do a Metal Gear inspired challenge run.) "Watch Yorinobu give his father his medication and making sure he swallows." "Watch Yorinobu execute a Homer Simpson Special." "Watch Yorinobu demonstrate how Arasaka will be handled in his hands." "Watch Yorinobu explain to his father that he needs to get a grip."
Damn did this challenge till I could end the game all on very hard. Using projectile launcher when it got too dicy. When I got into freeroam (like now) I started spending, reason being I wanted a char to try out builds so I could spendv and reload to try another freely. Great fricking video^^
subbed not long ago, love your content :)) glad you can do something you love, good luck o7 its the kinda of content i would want to make if i had a capable pc
Great vid! keep it up choom here's an idea for "ultimate impossible challenge" or smth like that: - very hard difficulty - first stock weapons (until you are forced to change to something, then stay with it e.t.c.) - first stock clothes (same rule as in line before) - no perks + attributes - and a cherry on the pie is the secret johnny ending with soloing Arasaka tower (but it could be just impossible, so it's for debate) sorry if I'm repeating someone, haven't seen other suggestions
found out for the GIM mission in Pacifica, you don't ever actually need to go to the van, you can just go straight to where the netwatch agent is and it makes no difference. saves time
Pretty dope easteregg that roach race highscore no 9 was J4CKI3W and no 1 was Z1R343L (Ciri from witcher). What makes this especially interesting is that in witcher 3 Ciri told Geralt about her travels through space and time and referenced night city. Makes you wonder if the high score was actually made by Ciri
If you're playing a corpo, there's an even easier way to hack the parade floats, I found out the other day. You can pretend you're part of Arasaka Counter Intel to the guard on the door on the left, and *everyone* will let you walk past them (until Takemura ruins it by hacking the ceiling)
when it comes to bugs and glitches, as long as they don;t negatively effect the gameplay [like a boss getting stuck in wall or something] then they tend to enhance the over all experience
This is basically 50% of my first playthrough because I didn't realise that I could raise attributes for a really long time which meant that most of the good perks were locked away.
on ps5 you can tell when the game is abt to crash by the flashing ad boards and npcs and the unimaginable lag spikes. but a quicksave and a re-load fixes everything, magically
These are always fun to watch you do them, and your narration is top notch! Challenge run idea: Pacifist/No-kill run (and trying to avoid combat or situations where you're forced to kill someone instead of just knocking them out) that doesn't count Johnny's memories, or driving scenes. Everyone that I've seen try this always just gives up once they get to one of those points, but I just don't think they should count because you can't really do anything about them. With those not counting, I think it should be possible otherwise, but I think Atom Smasher might have to be another exception to that rule, but I don't remember if the game will progress if you don't kill him at the end.
You can leave him and walk away. He curses you, I think, but that's all. Depending on which ending you picked, you have slightly different responses to him (if its V or Johnny doing the run, of if its both of you) Personally, I always kill him. Two to the head with Johnny's Malorian, then finish the clip down his spine, just in case. He threatened Rogue and my Vs friends. He's an ex Borg just for that threat.
1:45 I love this glitch, if you drive at very high speed, and the barrier gets stuck in the front of your car, you start flying. Something like the one shown before this where the cabinet started spinning. 20:02 -206 dps lol, does that mean you heal the enemies?
very well edited and narrated, as a CP veteran I felt really entertained. Take away for newbies: body is totally overrated (exception, when you go for a brawler build, clubbing people into next week is pretty funny), and second: never try your hands on the Roach game. I did and like you, gave up on it. Subbed.
