I love that a group of millionaires partying atop the biggest building in the world, surrounded by solid gold, will still go and pick up a quarter even if it puts them in mortal danger. Incredible satire from Hitman there.

You can also coin lure people infinitely far away by just straight up placing the coin down in front of them with the precise placement feature. Repeatedly picking the one coin back up and putting it farther away. It literally just works like that without having to hide and throw coins.

There are exceptions to opening doors using coins (at least for the part where you can have the door remain unlocked for the rest of the mission), but I don’t have one in mind at the minute

I think there is an exception to the door mechanic. The vine door when you are entering the secret society meeting (maybe it's the start of the vine tour with Mr Don) in mendoza. Gret vid BTW.
I believe the devs have said that all NPCs being able to open all doors is hard enough to change that it's the reason there's no prison level (other than the sniper one)
btw there is a glitch where you can kill people and destroy cameras with thrown coins. Unrelated, I don't know if you would count the RFID explosive as a coin but that might make things too easy.
If you want more coin madness, there is a cane you can unlock from the seven deadly sins dlc, that when you knock people out with it, it drops a free coin. quite a bit silly

You can actually kill people by throwing coin. Use a melee throwable weapon like screwdriver and lock the target and before throwing it quickly switch to the coin in your inventory. Boom! You've killed your target using a coin.
I think you should have shown you placing the coin trail. Everyone knows coins as tossing audio lures, but not how effective they are when just placed for lures you don't have to be present for. Heck me and my friends didn't even know placing was a mechanic until Hitman 3 came out and I saw someone use a banana and tried the same.
