The thought of being in a populated party, and slowly as the night goes on it being less and less populated with no one knowing where everyone went until you're the last one, is mildly terrifying
It's an easter egg referencing bigMooney06, who's been doing a series called the Kill Everyone Challenge ever since the first title in World of Assassination. We know it's specifically a reference to them because one of the TVs in the showroom for the bunker occasionally says "Kill Everyone Challenge" on it in the same style as one of their thumbnails. Now, _why_ it happens if you kill everyone? No idea, but it's cool anyway.
@@brennanruiz1803Wait, I checked today and on some map there's an escalation called "BigMooney's (something something)". Idk what the goal is, I just know the name of the mission. Is that another reference to them?
Fascinating to think about what the implications of this would be in the game world. Supposedly the people attending this party are some of the richest and most powerful people in the world, and in this timeline they just never come back from an isolated Scottish island.
And then when the authorities investigate in a few days they'll find everyone piled up into a few rooms having been either shot or stabbed in the back of the head but with no other evidence of violence. The news would go crazy over that.
fun fact: the reason that the knights die to only 2 pistol shots to the head is actually because there is a bug that makes ICA19 headshots do a ridiculous amount of damage (far more than anything else in the game). Since almost all NPCs die from a single gunshot to the head from any gun anyway, this is something that no one would ever normally noticed. The only times this can ever really be used are with the knights and with Bosco, since they have much higher HP than normal
You failed your challenge. Both in-game allies and even the viewers (including you at the time of recording) saw your in-game character. So, you've failed once again!
Its an Easter Egg to bigMooney06. IOI even invited him to their Studio. He was the first or one of the first to do the "Kill Everyone Challange" way back in Hitman 1. So to throw him off IOI added this. When the last NPC dies the Knights activate and have a massive HP Pool. Mooney is even mentioned in some Maps. I think on Colorado there are some Guards who talk about "Some maniac who killed an entire City". Oh and the TV in this Level can sometimes show a clip where it even mentions the Challange
@@funkejosh4850huh... to this day I thought they were referencing a shootout in Hitman: Absolution, where 47 could go on a rampage when ICA takes control over a small town in the middle of nowhere...
Reminds me vaguely of a level in the first Medal of Honor (from like 28 years ago). A whole mission with living suits of armour or clockwork soldiers. I think it gave me nightmares as a kid.
Im just wondering HOW this man managed to sort through so much footage. Like is there a way to filter stuff out or does he have to sit and watch everything back???
It’s extremely time consuming to filter through everything, sometimes I just re-record something instead of sifting through all the footage since it takes so long
@@onionbutter42 maybe try using the xbox game bar's "game clip" feature? it records the last 30 seconds or so, so whilst you're playing you could record a good part where you do something and use the clip later, would save time sorting through it atleast
@@tanza3d I mean that could work both amd and nvidia have features that can save last up to 10 min or so. while it would still be beneficial to have a normal full recording for a lot of the footage you can save it using that
@onionbutter42 there may be some kind of program that marks parts of the recording with sound ques (like the pistol shots) or you could press a key on your keyboard to mark it.
Dude I actually love your videos. I have never played anything in the hitman series or watched anything about it, but then one of your videos got recommended and it was awesome and now I’ve seen all of them. Thank you and keep up the good work ❤️
A few years ago, I did Sapienza and KO'd everyone on the map ( stealthily) dragged every body to the church and placed them all under the bell tower and cut the ropes holding the bell for an all persons insta-kill (my PS4 was lagging like a MF 😂
May I just say that when I first tried playing Hitman 3 on a free trial, I had massive issues with the Dubai level and uninstalled it. By some luck, I found your videos and it piqued my interest in the game again. Now I've completed all the maps from Hitman to Hitman 3! Still lots to go in terms of mastery and unlocks though. Keep doing what you're doing!
Holy fuck a 7 hour time (after 15 hours overall), that's insane lol. This turned out to be a very interesting level to try this out on, with the knights and the Constant and all. I'm also sure you're learning tons of valuable stuff from doing all these challeneges aswell. Isle of Sgail looks so cool emptied out too lol
*Max Payne:* They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark on everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger, and it was over.
Your videos and the way you create the ambient around the story are just fantastic. I think all of us would really like if you did a normal story missions campaign.
There's 3 levels you can exploit what I imagine is a glitch to help with this in future videos. 1- Miami - the sinks under the race track where there's about 8+ of them - even sierra and all the staff members will try to stop the water from flowing. 2- Colorado - the fork lift near the barn eventually lures everyone there, it screws with the AI because of the guy in the basement who can't move. Be careful with this one as there's two guards usually on the edge of the map talking that you will have to kill. 3- Mumbai - the electrical box in the security room of the train yard. It'll lure everyone one by one to the train yard. Even the Maelstrom. Admittedly this will take 2-3 hours to do I love this glitch because you can play it safe on really over the top challenges and if you wanted to double check if you murdered every NPC that can count as a witness, none of those generated ones. There may be more but I haven't played hitman in over a year. Though I love seeing these videos.
Hey onionbutter! Amazing video. Pro tip if you’re using premiere’s timelines, when you’re recording. Use smth like your browser or any other source to play a very loud sound during a multi hour recording for parts that you want to easily be able to find. Just look at the db indicator, given you record the sound and video separately. Would allow full game sound and later voice overs too. If you’re already doing so. Good on you, but I would love to see more of these kinds of videos and any bit to make them easier allows us to view more as well :)
I think... I think those knights were what we in the business call Ghost Revenge. Terrifying! But somehow not as terrifying as the idea of being at that party as it gets quieter and quieter and... well, afterlife of your choice, I suppose.
i had no idea about the suits of armor that's actually incredibly cool. good job on the challenge, the flash was nice. shame of having to use double coins, but considering the length of the run and everything else impressive i don't mind.
There's a really fun challenge I recommend you to do, as I did it and it's one of the most memorable gaming moments I can think of in Hitman. The entire premise is just killing everyone on the map using accidents and without being seen at all. I also did this in suit only. The map I did it in was Hokkaido, but I'm sure it can be done in other maps as well.
you should make another channels for the full recordings where they are not unlisted theres people out there that would most definitely watch them and on the plus side you wouldnt need to edit at all maybe called ButterOnion
The full recordings of this video that he put unlisted in the descripition have 15 hours of content, I don't think people would watch that channel alot specially because its like 13 hours of trying and failing then resetting the save
@@Patchy7929 No doubt, well if so they would probably watch it while studying or doing something else, I think its hard to actually watch it entirely paying attention, like it's 15 hours if it was me I would sleep while watching after a few hours tbh
I love it when people find out about the suits of armour XD Its so fyunny. My fav is when bigMooney06 takes em down in a kill everyone challenge. it's pandamonium .
I just realized how similar this game is compared to spiderman ps4. Like how you can sense people and objectives even through walls, the coins in this game are webs in spiderman stealth missions, and how the game pauses when you select a new item is exactly the same as spiderman ps4.
Just last night I completed my very first playthrough of Sgail, and I did it SA/SO with a lot of save scumming, and abusing the same mechanic of guards calling in other guards until I had silently knocked out most of the staff and guards lmao
Hey there, I've been watching your videos for a while seeing as it's enjoyable to see the hitman gameplay, but I can't get myself to actually play the game itself, any recommendations to actually get into it?
they combined all their games into "hitman world of assassination" recently, so you can get everything ive ever played on this channel for 30 bucks when its on sale
Do you own the game and just mean for some odd reason you can't bring yourself to play it? if so I had that too for a while i have no idea what that feeling is. Just load up a map and run around until you find a fun storyline to follow, or look up guides for silent assassin suit only elusive target guides
Yeah, I meant that I already have all the games, and I've played a few of the missions but I get bored playing it. It's like that with any single player game though
Come to think of it, it makes sense for an NPC to travel long distances to inspect the sound of a coin falling. Firstly, it's a very high-pitched sound, so it's very distinctive. Secondly, the sound of a coin falling could also be heard as a bullet casing falling on the ground - if a suppressed weapon was fired nearby and all you heard was a casing hitting the ground, you'd have a good reason to suspect an assassin was nearby. This would mainly apply to guards, but anybody who's attentive enough and has decent knowledge of firearms would pick up on it.
I was trying to think of an acronym for this challenge and came up with SASOKE (Silent Assassin, Suit Only, Kill Everyone) but it sounds like a Japanese name tbh.
Wow, Isle is the most populated map? I thought it would’ve been Miami with the huge crowd at the front, all the people in the stands watching the race and in the VIP area, and the other scattered NPCs
Crowds aren't typical NPCs, they work more as a collective with very simplified AI because if they were "proper" NPCs with standard AI then it would tax the CPU too hard
