Went to full throttle raceway in august for my sons 16th birthday, got so track was fast. Think I got a low 22, my main aim was making sure I did a faster lap than a load of teenagers 🤣
@@johnnunn8688 Of all possible EV choices at that time, Nissan Leaf was neither the most beautiful nor the one with the best battery longevity (limitations of thermal management). Also the Chademo plug and the relatively high energy consumption are not exactly on the plus side of EV features. On the plus side: Replacement batteries are relatively cheap and the car is solid.
I bet 80 year old Alan could beat Lee 🤣 Only joking, Lee's a big lad and it makes so much difference in a cart. Thats a great little track, I went there on a stag do a few years back and did a full grand prix style event really great day.
Lee just needed a better line to keep his speed up. I dont think hes really a racing guy but he made a pretty huge improvement, just shy of a 2 second improvement is damn good.
Thank's very much Geoff for this video. You and Lee have so much fun together! (It looks like tho..) Please continue your both good work!! 🙂🙂I'm look forward to every video you and Lee comes out with every day! 🙂
Good evening GEOFF it's so nice of you and LEE having a track race. In Stourbridge my home town 👍 by the way is the race track on mill race lane just after the ring road?
Those guys with the 125cc and 250cc go karts , they Fly ! And turn on a dime ! Better than Formula 1 , and you hit the wall going slower , which is a huge Bonus
What Geoff says: “A few laps edited to show us both on the track.” What we see: A few laps edited to show aaaall of Geoff’s overtakes. 😂🤣😆 What do you think? 😂
Gotta say it Geoff not stealing your thunder a bit ,, BUT !! Macmaster weighs a Tonne and your tiny so kart will be quicker.. Your a natural racer i can see that from Donnington etc but in these toy karts size and weight is important..
Geoff you need to read the viz comic great British self-drive electric vehicle race off - it might explain how Lee failed to get to Lands End (but it runs in reverse to your route)
I went go-karting. What a disaster. I’m absolutely crap at it. I went there on my motorcycle and had to wear my own crash-helmet - none of theirs fitted. It was raining. I went off the track into some hay-bales. One of them shot straight up in the air. On the way down, it hit my crash-helmet and smashed the visor. I had to attempt to tape it up for my ride home. Never again! 😂😂
Toyota sold more cars in 2023 than ever before but electric vehicles had a minimal impact on the growth. Of the 11,233,039 vehicles delivered by the Japanese conglomerate, only 104,018 were EVs. Just 0.926 percent of the cars sold by Toyota, Lexus, and the other subsidiaries last year were battery EVs. With that in mind, the company reckons there's still a need for combustion engines.
Really enjoyed this video Geoff good bit of driving there from you both. I'll have to get down there and see how I stand up lol. Loved the Funhouse-esc music too haha
Lee was commentating throughout all his laps and I believe he deserves a second or 2, deducted from his best lap. His concentration wouldn't have been 100%, to be fair.
On another note, just seen a video from "wall street millennial" about why car public car charger companies are running at a loss. It is USA oriented, but interesting nevertheless.
You’ve probably heard about the Tesla going for a swim in the fjord, but do you think the other RU-vidr should change its name to just get a life jacket?
just realized what use electric cars have , go carts. no exhaust gas, no range anxiety, crazy acceleration. perfect. take ev's off the road and put them all on go cart tracks.
Geoff. i would love to go to stourbridge and spank your time but if i haven't got Lee to pass 4 times then it wouldn't be a fair comparison. Lee was like carrying a bag of cement with him because he's a big lad. i am a similar height to you i think. Lets get it on. i have raced karts three times in my life so i'm not experienced in any way but i am a massive petrol head who loves to drive quick. that little track looks cool. how much quicker would your lap times have been if you hadn't had to pass captain slow i wonder??? Happy to meet you there if you are up for it? i will pay.
Karting is a lot of fun, but it can be dangerous in more ways than you could imagine. I was at the local race track here in Capetown many years ago and they've got a fantastic kart track there too, I was leaning up against a wall scoffing a burger one afternoon when a chap blew his engine on track and the gudgeon pin from the engine smacked the wall just above my head with such energy that it took a chunk out of a brick, just a couple of inches lower and I probably wouldn't have known anything about it.
Love to see where mcfarter gets to trying to go to Australia. Probably get to Austria or Argentina, by mistake. he will then blame an evangelist as it will be all their fault.
We didn't even use it in the end, after all that.... The Volvo did the entire day instead, covering 139 miles at full throttle, all day. What a car..!!!
Another Fine vlog from you and Lee, you guys really work together well, helping each other while not stepping on each others toes, Its a partnership not a competition. Love it!!!
