Can you build a £329 Effects pedal for £29 ? Colorsound Power Boost

I was browsing a page about David Gilmour and saw that he used a Colorsound Power boost a lot in the 70s, I then googled this pedal and to my slight shock saw you could buy one for £239. This to me looked to be VERY expensive. Within about 5 minutes I had a circuit Diagram and I had ordered a case that looks roughly similar to the finished item. This is how I got on with it.

Nice build, I like the enclosure. I have a custom build of this circuit that I added a master volume to, it makes the pedal much more usable, one of my favourite ods.

i have built two buzzarounds - they are great circuits . i do own a colorsound od but not the boost . the boost is the one i want tho as iu have been getting into playing thru boost pedals .rangemasters , the 83tb is the one tho , ep boost , demeter fat control .

What did you use to make the graphics that says volume, treble, bass, power booster? Where did you get those knobs also

Dyno label maker And the knobs from a china seller on eBay ages ago

@@MatthewNorthMusic Good point. But I'm sure I can find some screws that will fit. The enclosure is an excellent find. There's another company that makes exact replicas of old mk1 and mk2 Tone Bender enclosures. Very nice but cost £60+ each. This one is a great alternative
