Use white caulking between the wall and the molding trim to hide the opening. Great job by the way. You gain a follower

Next time, get the 10.2 oz. color matched sanded caulking tube and you can just hit up the grout lines with a caulking gun, especially with those narrow grout lines.

I think it looks really nice. I just redid my standup shower with peel andvdtick tiles. Been wondering what to use in the seams to waterproof it. Awesome job by the way

What kind of at-home cleaners can I use to remove the grout excess after installing the peel and stick tile. Didn't clean it off good enough when the tile was installed?

You can try 1 part vinegar to 4 parts warm water to get rid of excess grout.

Yeah I’m currently dealing with this exactly. Looks like the tile may even be stained from the grout pigment since nothing I’ve used will get the gray streaks off the tile

Vinyl grout is specially made for vinyl tiles. Ceramic tile grout is not recommended.

Hi great video, i did the same but am left with grout haze as some patches and its super dried now, any tip on removed the haze that worked out for you.

You can try warm water and a wool sponge to gently loosen up the grout then wipe away with a damp towel. Hope this helps!

Cindy, the adhesive may loosen as time goes on. Heating the tile is how you can pull it up to replace it. Hope this helps. -DIYPC 😃✨

Not trying to hate, but after the floor moves just a little your going to be sweeping grout up for months after it cracks out. Mary as well just spend another $100 and buy wonderboard and tile it.

Its a 1/4" thick 3'x5" sheet of cementboard made of styrofoam balls, mesh tape, and concrete...used for real tiles as a substrate to adhere thinset to tile. I was just saying that if those pop loose the grout will crack and you'll have to sweep it up everytime you go in there after it becomes an issue. It's cheap though so not much to really over think. Just observing it's potential failure since I am a tile guy, these are the things that will always be on my mind when I see flooring. looks good tho regardless, nice work 😉

@@sharu6895I would use a primer to help the peel n stick bond better. thats about all you can do. nice flat, clean, no voids, and a good primer...maybe even two coats if you are still using the spacers and grout method with your layouts. You wanna prevent movement on your floor so the grout itself does not lose its bond essentially. Pretty easy stuff, u are already doing it..just role some primer and its extra strength. Don't forget to let it dry.. 😄
