I watched this video last night, and then tonight pops into my head the thought...I think an idea/challenge for Ms. Terry is to use those cool heat gun melts in a chiffon soap!
Thanks, Susan! I'll consider doing that one in the future, but I'd have to make several more sheets to do that. I have to film part 2 this weekend, so there's really not time. HOWEVER- I will keep this one in the idea bank, because that would be really cool! ❤❤❤
These are soooo cool! I pulled out some old mp embeds and I want to try something like this. I'll have to remelt it and put in a mold to then shred lol 😍
That may be possible, perhaps in another video way down the road. Or, if you try it, let me know how it goes! Thanks for watching and for commenting! 🥰
Very cool. Would it work attaching them, especially the one from the square mold, to a black base (clear or opaque), or a white or a solid complementary color base to make regular-size bars? Could you flip the melted soap and keep heating it to melt it/meld it even more? OR, cut it into pieces or shapes to make confetti soap? OR, embed it as a slab to the top of soap in a loaf mold? Woo! the possibilities! ... Fun video!
Yes, so many possibilities! I almost backed that larger one in black or dark purple! Now that I know it creates viable soap, I may do another one in the future. I didn't want to waste the soap without a lather test, LOL. It would make a cool embed for the top of a loaf, too- great idea! Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤🥰
That was actually my initial thought with the one in the mold, BUT I wasn't willing to chance wasting a lot of my coveted, hoarded Premium Crystal Clear in case the soap got too hot and wouldn't lather. Basically, I'm a cheapskate....um..I mean frugal! 😂🤣
Hi, thanks for the thoughts, I'm still experimenting with this one! I wasn't even sure the soap shreds would melt at all, or remain soap! LOL. I'll be doing much more playing around in the future. Be sure to tune in to the results videos of the projects I made using these! One will drop tomorrow evening, and the other will be the following week. They were so much fun to make! Thanks for watching! 🥰
Yes, it does, but it's not nearly as strong. Anytime I use scraps, I try to use a fragrance that will go with the original, even if it's faint, that way it won't get stinky! 🤣
