My FAVORITE results from our Heat Gun Experiment, melting soap with a HEAT GUN to make stunning Melt and Pour Soaps! Oh, this one gives me SO many ideas! Join me & Mr. Soaps & Such as we give some more thoughts on the overall experiment, and discuss the the technique for making these amazing Opal Soaps!
REMEMBER TO WATCH THIS VIDEO FIRST: • Can you MELT soap with... as it is where I make the embeds! Have some soap shredded and ready to go, whatever colors YOU like! NOTE, my shreds are big, because my shredder is for veggies, not cheese. Use the larger holes of your shredder if you want the same look.

OMFG, Terry! You have outdone yourself on this one! These are the most striking soaps EVER! WOW! I especially loved the clear ones, though they were all gorgeous... except maybe for one... lol! Speaking of that soap in particular, if you go to 19:33 , look closely at the yellow FACE with a truly evil smirky expression on it, peering from behind the pink! IT KNEW you were mocking it! I would definitely not sleep in the same room with it, or take it for personal use! Mister Soaps, it was a pleasure, as always! You and Terry are dynamite together! Though to be honest, the mysterious hand needs to do an Adams Family style "walk-through" on camera occasionally... you know, just to KEEP YOUR HAND IN! I sooo appreciate the offer, but I will do my best to only ask if its something I just cannot find elsewhere or to give a quick up 👍 or down 👎 verification to something that doesn't sound right as there is a lot of inaccurate info thrown around. I know this yt thing is more than a full time job and a half, so, if I turn to you for any info or advice I'll always work to make it as simple as possible for you to answer. Ok I really like this technique of heat gun shreds/scraps and then placing in a mold! 👏🏾💕💕 I’ve been thinking how can I pour more colors into my soaps (have only been doing two color swirls) and this method would give me what I want without juggling 3-4 pouring cups. LOL, agree with you on your least fav (RIP😂) one but in the final showing at the video’s end it looked like a flowering effect behind the yellow strip which was cool. Also thanks for showing the results of the slab mold heat gun soaps. Very cool. 👏🏾💕💕

I so LOVE these, they are truly fab, even the one you do not like! Now I am on the hunt for domed oval moulds as we don't have them in the UK.

I'm sorry to hear that. You may be able to get a similar look using the half dome round molds, like a round cabochon. They look kind of like glass paperweights. Be sure to look in the kitchen/baking suppliers or shops, as well as soap and resin art, since silicone molds are made for all of these hobbies, but double check your sizes. I will try certain websites who deliver all over the world because those soap I need to have them as they are gorgeous! I will never get the super clear melt and pour though but are playing with adding a little bit of blue!@@msTsoap

@@DawnyDaviau thank you! Yes, the bluing can certainly help! Be sure to use liquid dye or non-bleeding gel dye (Zenicolor- if you can get it) and use WAY less than you think you need. Samantha from The Dancing Soap Dish uses Stephenson's Ultra Clear with beautiful results. I think she heats only a small amount at a time and is careful to peel off a skin if it starts to develop. Be sure to check out her channel if you haven't already! Looking forward to hearing about what you find, or even seeing the results- if you wouldn't mind tagging me if you share it! Good luck! 🥰

Yes I am also following The Dancing Soap Dish and love her channel, had to buy finger sponges to replicate in my own work what she did in her last video! We cannot get ultra clear here, just the basic clear and my assessments do not allow me to use zenicolor but I do have it and indeed use liquid dye to keep a tight eye on it not to blue the soap.
