It done in a respectful manner, and she said she was also a kid when the murder happened so there is that connection but sometimes other people's stories just really stick with you.

Is anyone else super creeped out by the JonBenet Ramsey obsession? I’ve seen a lot of people talk about how much they “love” her, but it makes my skin crawl. I’ve been a true crime fan for over 10yrs, studied it in college, have done personal research, but never once have I ever considered getting a tattoo of a murder victim, ESPECIALLY a kid. Being interested in true crime is already labeled as creepy/bizarre to most people, let alone a random person getting a tattoo. Do they stop to think about how family members and loved ones might react if they see it? If I had a little girl who was brutally murdered and saw these people obsessing over her and claiming to love her, I would puke and want to scratch it off. True crime is interesting, yes, but they’re human beings who did not deserve to die like that. It crosses the line WAY too much and gives people who are curious about big criminal cases even more of a bad reputation.
Agreed. And judging by the amount of backlash this lady is getting for this tat (which she feels the need to respond to passive aggressively on her personal acct) the concern is warranted.
It has always stuck with me that on some old interview Travis Barker once said he committed to getting all the tattoos so he wouldn't be able to give up on his dream of succeeding in music, because he couldn't get a regular job. I fucking love it.

I know we're ragging on all of Aaron Carter's tattoos, but SPECIFICALLY, his pec tatts look... very out of place. Like they're stranded on separate desert islands, those islands being his tiddies. Like he looked at his artist and said, "You know what'd be sick? Two images that perfectly contoured the tops of my bosoms and literally nothing else." Like he regularly runs around in a corset and a sweater cropped to the clavicle. Not to insult the man himself -- I know nothing about him -- but what a strange decision.

I noticed that these artists usually avoid criticising celebrities who are very obviously bad people, perhaps in the hopes of working with them one day, which sucks imo. Machine gun Kelly has defended p***ophilia in a number of tweets and a couple of videos and I'm not sure why it's not widely known.

The Aaron Carter one is sad. He went into a full drug induced psychosis similar to Charlie Sheen’s tiger blood phase. That’s when he got the face tattoo, during the height of his drug use and mental breakdown.
When you separate Kat Von D as a person from her work as a tattoo artist, you can’t not recognize that she is extremely talented. I totally agree about celebrities getting cheap tattoos. If i had Rapper money i would be going to my favorite artists, but most of them look like they're just doing walk-ins and picking something off the wall.
