I was running huntress last night and had light flux and purity. Timing special use and utility just right let me pillar skip, a bit slowly. I was on the last stretch before reaching Mythrix and ego absorbed the light flux pauldron, and no longer could complete the pillar skip. I just gave up lol, I did not want to attempt pillar with the build I had

5 min rule is good to follow when you’re first learning how to pace and loot. Eventually, you’ll outgrow it, and can be more flexible with how much time you spend on a stage.

The biggest downside, besides the obvious taking all your items, is the fact that it always attacks the closest enemy. You have 20 orbs? There's a single beetle near the boss? That's 20 orbs toward the beetle 😂

Did anyone ever think what would happen if a regenerating scrap spawned in a printer wouldn’t you be able to print it infinitely because the regem scrap spawns usable and can be used to print greens?

They probably black listed it from printers as it would be infinite items otherwise

Printers CANNOT take the item they print. As such, if they allowed a regen scrap printer it would ignore your regen scraps but still take normal green scrap first.

Doesn't it stack multiplicatively, though? Like, after 1 minute, you'll have 2 egos, then after another minute, each of those 2 will eat an item, making 4?

It does, and it's so fun. Untill you find yourself unable to kill anything that flies (specially bosses. My god the bosses). My recommendation if you go for that build is Use the mobile turrets TAKE A MILKY CHRYSALIS OR A VOLCANIC EGG
