You're truly right there is no way to compare cos one Kamuzu ruled 31 yrs and he ruled under one party system which meant that whatever he said was law yet the rest have led for ten years and under in a multiparty set up where as the opposition tries at all cos to derail or sabotage government efforts. All the parties not pointing one but all of the are guilty of that so Kamuzu had a chance to do much much better BUT he didn't do

bahat Nyirenda - I think he was just satisfied with being instrumental to Malawi independence. The ensuing dictatorial leadership especially his becoming “life president “ was his eventual undoing. And I concur, he missed that opportunity to cement his legacy as the great statesman and leader. Unfortunately history doesn’t speak kindly about him-what a shame

@@bahatnyirenda3886 you wouldn't speak good of him if u grew up elsewhere during his reign. The Ngwazi remains the only leader that put the peoples interests first. From education to general livelihood of the average person in the village. Ofcourse, he could've done more, but give credit where it's due.

highly favored I think you are also brain washed by him, dude I was born pa bottom hospital I remember at the age of 4 would get into a bus because my grand ma had no party ticket yet I was very sick we needed to get to Likuni hospital, I grew up without a father because he was arrested as a political prisoner by this guy so I know what am talking about I felt the reality of his leadership. One day at his rally I was beaten by MYP while I was trying to go and take a pee i hard to pee in my uniform while he sat in his chair at the stage
