The BarDown team is in Sweden for the World Juniors! Jesse and Corwin are at toured every single locker room in the tournament and shows them in the order that they were selected in by the participating teams.
Back when I worked both custodial and DJ for the U17 World Hockey Challenge in 2019, Team USA had by far the cleanest dressing room. Most we had to do was mop in their room and that's it. They run a tidy ship. Team Russia was the messiest.
I cant speak for any other country but I know how important discipline and tidiness is to coaching staffs in the US. If you can’t keep a clean locker room you’re not gonna play and clean/smooth in the games
I was the equipment manager for that team. Our players are held to a high standard. Please/Thank You's, attention to detail, etc. Appreciate the compliment!
Cookie is such a great dude! I was a season ticket holder when he was in Ottawa he'd always stop and chat pre-game or set aside broken sticks for kids, unless the manufacturers needed them back.
That’s true, Braden Holtby would spend almost two hours alone loosening up and meditating before games. Goalie’s need to prepare more mentally than anyone else on the team, so a little separation from the skaters pre game is probably nice for them.
Then there was the Latvian dressing room in the WC2018 in Denmark: There was a bit of free space next to the Latvian dressing room, so latvians exchanged some kind of alcohol for curtains with the arena staff and installed a massage room themselves😂😂
5:26 Corwin was right in the podcast, this was fucking electric. That's so cool you guys got to be a part of that party.
Very cool. Would be cool to see some video on what the teams used as there pre game /in between period /post game foods/fuel/snacks etc----- What's with bananas in this world for eating? See some protein powders on tables and mixer then where put the drink? no cups or bottles? LOST on the change rooms, The tournament game was played at 2 arenas only? ----and why would that "cool Swedish change room" be designed to walk that far to change room and skate guards what a joke it makes it ah ok they get another room closer---
Noticed the Canadian locker room was the only one with the showers full of other shit. Are the Canadian even allowed to use the showers? With all these new policies
USA Hockey is funny man they are pretty picky and needy most county’s are happy to have a room Canada always makes the best of what they have checks room was nice
maybe they were in the middle of a team thing in the locker room, maybe they just don't want anyone who shouldn't be in there, USA Hockey also has a rule of no cameras allowed in locker rooms, not sure if it applies to the NTDP team.
It’s all total craziness. I’m sure idiocy like being unable to change normally & having to stay hot/sweaty until returning to the hotel is all very conducive to winning. But this is the nonsense we get when only 2 members of Hockey Canada board have any connection to hockey at all

Loving the video until 14:31 when we’re again reminded of the absolute insanity of Hockey Canada. You guys should be calling them out, not being their PR.
very salty all because they wouldn't let them film in there, maybe they were in the middle of a team thing in the locker room, maybe they just don't want anyone who shouldn't be in there, USA Hockey also has a rule of no cameras allowed in locker rooms, not sure if it applies to the NTDP team but either way you're salty over something so little.
@@ripapa6355 Why are you crying over the U.S.A not letting two internet dudes go into their locker room? Lmao imagine caring this much about a room. They won so whatever was in that room that they had that those two dudes couldn’t see worked wonders.😂
Let’s not act like USA hockey players are the ones lacking personality. Canada has a bunch of hockey robots but sure come check out the room TSN. Not like you’re completely biased. Done crying about the officiating yet?
