Video discusses the differences between models and my thoughts on ordering. I also do a drive to show the cab and how fast the unit heats. @RockyRohde #canam #canamatv #canamdefender #canamlife
I’m landing on buying my first toy/side by side. I’ll be using it to take the grandkids for rides out at the cabin. I’ve decided to go with Defender Limited. I do plan on waiting a little while to see if there are any changes for 2024
You seem to be very knowledgeable on these things. I’m considering a 22 Pro Limited. Can’t find any reliable information on what’s changed in 2023 for that model. I know the max had forward arms and bigger stock tires and new improved doors but am looking for help with the Pro Limited. Do you have any suggestions on where I can look or do you know off hand ? I appreciate your honest reviews and your top shelf class of content on your channel. Thank you !
Great comparison of the three models. I'm interested in a CAB model and was hooked on the Lone Star until you mentioned that if you had to start over - you might go with a Limited and then replace the top w/ an AudioFormz Level 5. I like this idea for at least three reasons - 1.) No additional amps to buy, 2.) No Additional Sub to buy taking up room under your rear seat and 3.) Integrated Lighting. That being said - have you looked at the ThumperFab Level Four or Five? I like the aluminum construction and the Light Setup looks to be first class. Also - what would you do with the stock roof?
I know I have had audioformz and it is the best I have seen. I have not had thumperfab so I cannot compare. One thing I failed to mention in the video also is that JL roof is thin plastic and not insulated. Your hvac will perform better with a true mdf roof. Not sure on stock roof…
@@RockyRohde - looks like East Texas is the hotbed for SxS audio roofs. AudioFormz in Canton, ThumperFab in Marshall and ProBox in Kaufman. I'm up in Northwest AR after 36 years in Dallas. Going to see if I can take a trip down there and check out these roofs in person.
Gracias Un saludo, Ramon
This does OK without portals..? Forgive maybe the newbie question, but thinking about going with one of these over a RZR. Not sure if I’d need portals to run 35s…?
Can am need to make a x mr limited, all the good of the xmr and the full doors and heating / air-conditioning ect of the limited.... I would buy that... at the moment I can't find the perfect set-up love the xmr and the limited but not buying 2 😂
Does the place that did you tint have the Template Available or can you tell me who did it? Should be getting my unit in a month but want to book the tint.
@@puzle9 any tint installer worth hiring isnt gonna have a template around, they hand cut it on the window. Honestly sounds like a bigger headache to try and line up a precut vs just follow the lip of the window with a razor.
@@RockyRohde those are excellent points. I could only imagine how hot the plastic roof makes the inside of the cab. I really appreciate your time and replies, it helps me out a lot. Great channel btw.
I have a couple of questions about this can am with cab ac, 1. What is the maximum speed of this can am? 2. How stable is it for the weight of the cab? 3. Can this can am be used to go to the mountains the same as an x3 or a commander? 4. If this can am turns over, would the windows of its doors break? 5. Could you cross rivers without ruining the ac? 6. Can this can am go where a defender xmr goes?
1. Stock they run about 60-65 2. They are stable.. the cab does not really add weight to the top. 3.I’m sure it can be used in the mountains but will have a different center of gravity than x3 or commander. 4. If you flip it yes I’m sure the windows would break… 5. Water will mud up the ac condenser… not recommended for boat use.. lift it and get above water or buy XMR. 6. Yes and no… XMR is lighter and has a front locker… upgrades can be done to the other…
@@RockyRohde Thank you for your answers, they help me a lot to make the decision of what to buy, I like your videos and the honest opinion you give about your experiences, keep going, you have one more follower on your channel.
IMO, all they need to do is add a Nav/infotainment screen and boom, kiss of death. Polaris is loud AF. I just got done test driving the Xpedition, for the price, the noise is unacceptable.
@nathaniellyon4855 I test drove the expedition also.. If it was priced more online with canam I could see around the issues and noise being one of them.. The premium you pay for the expedition it should be ready to go..
@@RockyRohde I'm literally watching one of your videos as you responded to me. LOL. Yeah, Polaris has always been loud. I had a 2019 Ranger XP 1000 Northstar Edition, Full cab and etc. Going down the road at 40mph you couldn't have a conversation with the person next to you. I've got a 2024 Fiery Red HD10 Limited Max coming. I am super pumped to get that baby home! One more quick question. Have you looked at somehow adding locks to your doors?
@nathaniellyon4855 I purchased the Camlocker tool box and just put my stuff in it and lock it.. I also installed dss system and Monimoto gps security.. if motion is detected on my machine and key fob is not present it will call my phone continuously. The Monimoto is self powered and is going to take someone a long time to find it lol…
@nathaniellyon4855 The canam is super quiet.. I can leave it running with ac on all day… I do like the expedition.. If Polaris will insulate it better and fix clutching from the factory I will buy..
I have a daughter with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She is sensitive to heat so the ac cab allows us to take her on more outings. She loves to ride around on our property. The ability to use it year round is important. We also take it to parks and ride. Everyone has different reasons for the equipment they own.
