Love your work Steve ... I've got a 2016 F3 SM6 The Manual version. I've been riding bikes since I was @ school ... But now I'm getting older I've opted for The Spyder as it's a little bit safer you don't have the added Risk of Dropping it. I'm in Qld ... Keep up the good work mate! 👍😁🤟 Beanie
Very good info. I'm running around 190lbs. There is a sweet spot for tension and I find I don't have any flutter, but I have an F3s with different gearing. I also have the Lamonster tensioner. I can tell you setting too loose is just as bad as too tight. The Krikit II is a very useful tool to have.
Very interesting...will check out your next video. BTW, Martin said you were REALLY old 😂 I mean I think you look great for 90 (that's what he said lol). 👍🏍😊💜
you u go with the belt tensioner...just make sure to get it with the upgraded pulley bearing. I didnt as they werent available when i bought mine...long story short my tensioner pulley bearing seized and snapped off, and ultimately gouged out my belt. fortunately it didnt destroy my belt..but lesson learned! hope this helps!
Geep thanks for the heads up, yes I had noticed the bearings were cheap Chinese ones. I tried to get some replacements but they are a weird size still looking. Cheers. ps(thanks for the heads up I should probably do another video warning people to change them)
Spot on Kevin 110 kph under light acceleration, the tensioner will fix it but be aware of the bearings in the roller, mine were Chinese so I’d suggest you change them. They are cheap & easy to change, cheers Steve.
