This current form of Hollywood and film and television is codified in every single contract, rule, etc. for Talent, Agencies, the Studios, the Hollywood Producers, the Unions. If I were in charge of Marvel or DC Comics I'd offer $1.99 mini comics at grocery stores with codes at the end that give the reader a few days of free online subscription. They still have the means to make comics, they just need more readers even if they sell comics at zero profit for a year or two.

Somebody _please_ explain what actually is "ComicGate," as in what the actual supposedly scandalous event(s) that happened that would collectively be known as ComicsGate colloquially afterwards. A scandal like "GamerGate" was easy to figure out if you had half a brain and weren't paid off or specifically biased for certain reasons - I'm overly summarizing, but it started as a particular female game dev exchanging sexual favors with game "journalists" for good reviews and in order to deflect eyes and general criticism from that specific issue and from the related more general gaming journalism integrity issue the scenario was corrupted into an overly broad unrelated "sexism in gaming" issue, among other unrelated nonsense. I have zero idea what event "ComicsGate" actually is relative to that.

Many of us got blocked for saying Indiana Jones was going to suck and lose money. We weren't retards or harassing him, we just said things he disagreed with, which he said he'd never silence us for as long as we weren't jerks. There's always that fraction you're referring to, but that wasn't the case with the majority of us. That's the beauty of shadow-banning, everything the banned has said is removed from sight so there can't be any examination of anything that was ever said. I honestly thought you were different than that because of all the things you've said.
