So it came to the surprise of many people, but the Star Swirl rig that was used in Luna's Determination was originally meant for an animated PMV based on Discord, the song by Odyssey Eurobeat.
I wanted to go against the fan theory that Discord was Star Swirl, and instead wanted to tell a story where Discord was Star Swirl's creation instead.
While the project never got produced, I sat in front of an unfinished animatic for a long long time, so I decided to finally publicly release the video for you to see.
There's lots of unfinished elements and the art itself isn't impressive at all, but I think you should have a good idea of the scenes.
The project was never finished due to an art block. I had some ideas how the animation would progress but none felt right.
I also included at 4:36 a view of the Discord Flash rig I was originally making for the project.
