I agree with all your points. she is using very shaky reasoning to substantiate her so called biases that logically does not make any common sense. You're right about this perpetuating hatred, crazy how a person who seems to be an upstanding black woman with a platform use it so irresponsibly painting targets against people for being different.
okay, and trans people don't want to be dead-named and misgendered. seems like we could all be respectful and address each other how we would like to be addressed. simple problems can require simple solutions.
i disagree. but to each their own I suppose. heteronormativity is only good for those who adhere to that way of thinking. anyone who would be considered outside of that would not be accepted the way they are and that is wrong.
free promo? I don't see it that way at all. Candace Owens is way more popular than I am and does not need me for publicity. she gets enough on her own. but with that point aside I stated in the video that I believe it is very important to counter these kinds of arguments and address them head-on. I don't believe ignoring this kind of ignorance makes the problem go away. you have to counter and debunk these kinds of talking points so that information can be put out there just like her ignorance was. if criticizing her gives her a free promo then so be it but that's not the intention here.
