I had never before given much thought to "theme" candles. If I like the candle, then I like the candle, but once I began to watch your review videos I can see the value in "theme-ing". And looking at it through the lens of a potential candle-maker, as oppose to through the eyes of a consumer, it appears to be a great marketing tactic.

Takes time to get the hang of candle making. Pandemic got a lot of people into it. But I think it takes time to get the hang of it and accurate candle.

Wade you are the bees knees lol. Thanks so much for the review it was very helpful. I have done a change to go back to wooden wicks. When I tested these cotton core wicks they came in 4 sizes small to Xtra large lol the medium did not do well and the small was too small lol. As for the warning stickers I got those on Amazon. Thanks again this has been a big step and journey and it is difficult being the end all be all but it is worth it to bring a bit of joy when my packages are opened.

@@EishaLee_ Uline. The one is the video is the 3x3x4 gift box. That size comes in black and kraft and white.

@@rebelwickcandleco.3277 Thank you so much! I use those vessels but don't like how the lids fit. I was trying to think of an appealing way to secure them but the individual boxes look really good and solves my dilemma.

@@EishaLee_ yea it's nice and snug so you can just put on a dust cover or wrap it in tissue and it does not shake around the box

I realize this is an older video Wade, but I found black warning labels on Amazon! The ones on these candles look exactly like the ones I have. They run about $5/roll of 250 or so.

For coconut-soy wax candles; what wicks would work best? Also, how many candles should a candle collection consist of?

I don't use much cocosoy myself but in the past I had used cd, htp, and premier 700 wicks. But many work fine. As far as number of candles in a collection...no rule there really. It can be whatever you want. That's the fun and beauty of a collection. :) Personally, I'd recommend at least 4 though.

Can you do a video on how to make your own 6006 from paraffin and soy. Like say your suppliers are all sold out and you had to make some yourself

You can make your own unique blends but you can't make your own 6006. Igi 6006 is a speciality proprietary wax made by IGI. It's not just any two paraffin and soy. But, you can mix your own parasoy blends anytime if you want. Pick two and start with any ratio you want. Say 50/50 and adjust. But that won't be a substitute for a specific wax like 6006. It would require testing as it won't be the same unfortunately.
