Made a double batch of this today (along with the enchilada sauce). So So So So SOOOO GOOD! It got a passing grade from the husband too! I only got four 1 1/2pints, and a 4oz. jar, but I know this wont be the last time Im making this! Christmas gifts :) Thanks again Linda!

Hi Linda, Love your vids and have been a lurker for a couple of years. I got into canning a few years ago, love the idea of storing things I grow. You brought up an item that I would love to be able to can, but haven't ever seen a recipe or even a google on how to do it. Have you ever seen or done canning of Mole Sauce. I make the best mole on earth (truly:)), but have not go a clue how to store it other than freezing. It's a thick, high oil, low acid food, with little if any sugar, so I'm not about to play with it as far as preserving. Definitely a high pressure recipe. Thanks, Love your site, (And I would welcome any comments from your fans.) E PS. Just got my new Ball book yesterday. Thanks

Okay, I'm not watching any more of your videos until my book gets here. lol Everyday I patiently wait for the postal carrier for my book. Okay, I lied. I'm not patiently waiting, I'm chewing my nails. That sauce looks amazing. I love a dark rich sauce. Great job!!!

Made this today. The taste is great. My immersion blender wouldn't blend the cherries, so I ended up blending it in the Blendtec on sauce setting. It turned out rich and thick, but I didn't get three full half pints. I wish I could've doubled the recipe but I didn't have enough bourbon! Thanks for your video's and trying this first for all of us!

OH LINDA! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO LOVIN this series! My heartfelt gratitude for w/o them, being the ever visual learner, I would not have turned into the "Canning Maniac" that I am now lol! (HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGS) and much continued Aloha to ya! ^ _ ^ p.s. I think I'm going to quad the recipe coz we love BBQ sauce and I eat my hotdogs w/bbq and fresh onion from the garden (happy sigh)

+TheWolfePit LOL Larry I think you're right you could put this on just about anything it is so delicious but it's got a complexity that a lot of barbecue sauces don't have so I hope you try it I'm really glad I did and you made me laugh

Linda! Please do the Banana Orange Jam! I'm so glad your doing this. Please look for that recipe. I have been dying to do it. I am moving into a new home and can't Can anything until, July 10. I'm getting the All American 915. I have a limitation on the amount of weight I can carry till next year so I am doing 2 915s to equal the amount of the 921. I'm getting 2 canning elements for my stove. But please do the Banana Jam from the book!

Hi @Linda, first off, thank you for your videos - they are awesome and inspiring! Can I get your expert help? I bought some half gallon mason jars (with the wide mouths) and can't seem to fit the large vacuum sealer attachment that you seem to use to get a proper seal on it. The attachment's rubber gasket fits tightly around the ring. Is this the same for you? I can push the attachment down far enough for the bottom of the rubber gasket to juuuust meet the very bottom of the ring, but it doesn't go down further to touch the glass (and thus create a seal). Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

I don't have a copy of that book yet but I just wanted to check. Was the recipe given from the book or as doubled? Also if you're doubling at the same rate, shouldn't triple or more work the same since you're adding at the same rate?

II want to can my bbq sauce. It does not have as much vinigar in it as mosy recipes.Can I get away with using citric acid for a water bath or should I just pressure can it? I cannot find a pressure canning info for that

I really like your channel and you recipes, but Linda, No offense meant, but you really have a tenancy to ramble. You might want to look to that. It's difficult sometimes to stay on your page, but the overall content forces me to stay with you. I really love the recipes and the canning tips and advice.
