This show was filmed in Toronto Canada where I live.The truck was donated by gm Canada ,and the trailer donated by fruehauff Canada,I worked at the terminal they used in the program, Kingsway transport Toronto.William Campbell had a hard time backing in terminal.Ther was a cab donated too for insie studio shots on lakeshore blvd Toronto.The truck was sold later to stone cartage Toronto.
This show was broadcast in Australia in the early 60s. The theme song has been rattling around in my head since then. Us kids used to modify the lyrics to a rather vulgar set of words.
I stayed up late to see this when I was 5, Tuesday nights at 9. In the afternoons I would watch Siesta Cinema, movies with Barbara Stanwick, Fred MacMurray, etc. I liked it far better than any cartoon.
