Hello again fellow adventurers! I hope the lockdown hasn't had too much of an impact on you and that everyone is well. Here in England the rules have been relaxed to allow paddlesports so we've been out paddling our local stretch of river quite a lot recently. We head out early on this occasion and pack the Trangia 25 kit with us and cook up a classic full English on the river bank and enjoy a few hours in the glorious English countryside.

Just come across this channel after getting interested in kayaking. I'm really enjoying the videos. I don't live too far from Ripon, so this was interesting.

Cheers! A kayak is probably a better option than a canoe for this stretch of river, from Ripon you can easily get down to York and beyond. It's much easier to carry a kayak around the various locks along the way.

Looks great! Being from Bury I shouldn't really reccommend anything other than the Bury black pudding, but if you're ever going through Leyburn, Hall's butchers does a black pudding which might be the best i've had with a full English, as well as some banging bangers.

p.s. I've just come home from a trip to Loch ken, Scotland. I had four nights in the tent and four days on the lock in my canoe. I love cooking out on my 40 years old trangia.

Great vid. I landed here as I just added a 25 to my kit. I have a 28T which I use for hiking but got the 25 for car and canoe camping. I can't wait to be able to get back to the UK and do some canoeing on the canals. So, very interested in your vid! (and the breakfast!) cheers mate.

Nice to see you back and coming from a familiar place i grew up in a village between york and thirsk called easingwold and we used to go fishing on that river every summer watching this made me feel kind of wistful thanks stay safe

Ben hi I love your vids , my kids think I'm nuts with the amount of stuff I have to go camping with but your on another level You must have the storage of my local Halfords supper store for the amount of stuff I have seen you use since you started this channel I hope your staying safe and well and manage to get out and about doing what you enjoy , my wife is a Trish too but I can't get her to do what your Trish is doing . Good way to ensure sausages are cooked through is to wait until you think they are. Then cut them down their length and turn them over to cook the insides.

Cheers Neale! Not sure about travelling anywhere this year, I think it's not looking too good for us to be honest. How about you, are you going anywhere? I've spoken to a few people who are looking to go to the continent towards the end of the summer but I'm reluctant to make any plans at the moment.

I think it would be daft to commit to anything really. Thinking about a winter NC500 trip, just to test my eyes 😳. Might do that but more likely to put money into the Disco. I'll be very surprised if there isn't a second wave, too many people taking the piss already. Oh well, let's hope everything works itself out 🚣🌍👍

I really loved this video and the demonstration of the Trangia and the fry-up. The only thing Id have preferred is not to have music as the sounds of nature where you were was lovely. I like hearing the sizzling of the cooking, the birds in the trees, and the splash of the water.

I've watched a few of your vids and noticed the amount of gear you have! Oz tents, soft top roof tent, hard top roof tent, fox wings, all manner of furniture and cooking gear. Must of cost you a fortune! Where do you store it all?
