You upload this video 8 minutes ago and i find througth the search. And man, is by far the best review about the 80D in 2019. You make my mind, I buying the 80D to replace my T6.

Thanks for your nice review. Am a beginner in vlogging. I did notice in many vídeos vloggers using the Eos 80D. I had a question if this has stabilizers for smooth shoot like a gimble camera or a Go pro 7 or Dji Osmo Action camera? Secondly among the Go Pro 7 and Dji Osmo Action which one do you recommend? I believe that Dji is yet to come out with a external mic adapter? Hoping your update. Thanks!

Hi, thank you so much for this review. I am about 50% sure I want a Canon 80D but this review has pushed it up to 70% just because of the way you started - by describing the placement of the mic and earphone jack that does not get in the way of the flip screen. To me, this minor but very well-thought out detail really exemplifies the kind of consideration they put into building this camera for a specific target market. And the fact that I must have watched so many different videos and yours is the first one to mention this little detail, so thank you for being not so 'textbook' about your review :D I like that it is water resistant, has a flip screen that flips sideways and rotatable, unobtrusive mic jack placement on top of its tech specs. I am kind of bummed about 4K though. One of my requirements is to have a camera with that extra capability so I can explore and grow my skills with it, so to speak. But still, it's a solid camera and very high up on my list.

I own the Canon eos 80D with the 18-135mm IS USM NANO kit lens since May 2016 and couldn't be more happy with it. Best camera I ever had. Easier to use than my old Canon 6D that doesn't have touch screen or revolving screen.

Hello, I bought a Canon 80d 2016 for the new 2019, a new version of them already had other formats how to set it to 1920x1080 60 frames per second or 30 frames

Thanks for the review, but there is no mention of sound quality. I assume it has an in-built mic but that was not mentioned. Not sure of the mic's quality and whether I need to purchase a separate mic or not (it seems in the review that you have one).

You need an external microphone because volume is way too low. Also, since 90D is coming out please start work on a video on whether we should upgrade.

Really enjoyed your review of the 80D. I currently have a EOS Rebel Sxi and I believe that all of my Canon lenses will work on the 80D. Can you verify this for me? With all of my searching I have found I can not find a compatability chart. I think the 80D would be a great upgrade for me. Thanks

It actually uses a modified version of the Digitech 6 processor not the 8, also you can install log modes in the custom picture profiles.

Install the latest firmware to get a format that is 60 frames per second. You can install earlier versions.

I will be upgrading my camera system here shortly and I really appreciate your review of the Canon 80D. When you get a chance please compare it to the new 90D to let us know if it would be worth the upgrade. I am currently starting to shoot more video, but as a REALTOR, I am already doing more than most agents in my market, and I have no plans on shooting short films or getting into the movie business. Thank you in advance for any advice or words of wisdom on the Canon 80D versus the 90D.

The 80D is an ABSOLUTE BEAST. I've been using it for just over a year now and absolutely love it. The 90D is out now but is it really worth it? What do you mean I can't shoot at 24fps 😂

Loved the video! What do you think about the rumors about the “90D”? I am looking to upgrade my camera and was dead set on the 80D but I keep going back forth on the 80D because of the rumors saying a new camera will be released in August!

And the big question is still here: Is it worth buying still in mid 2019? Do you know if there is going to be a new model in this class of canon cameras any time soon?

Hey this was great review. I'm going to be upgrading my camera over the next couple of months and thinking of going for this one. I spend more time taking pictures than I do making videos, and when I do make videos I'm not too likely to make cinematic short films so from what I'm seeing so far this is probably my best bet. Would you recommend this or would you recommend something different if I mainly take photos over video? I like that this has the video option and definitely want the upgrade to video, but would you say they is a better option that has video but that's more focused on photos?

well with the 60d I think crank 1 & 2 was shot, so with 80d it could also be possible ;)

Audio was too low even with volume turn to highest setting on Samsung's Surround Sound and phone.
