I think you're messing up a bit when it comes to exporting / uploading to RU-vid, it's not needed to export using the codec ProRes 422, in fact RU-vid recommends VP9, AV1, and H265, not sure if Final Cut Pro can handle all those codecs, but it's preferred to use those. ProRes is intended for video editing not for playback, you're not really getting much more quality out of it anyways, well not you, but rather RU-vid, they'll have to encode your video again to VP9, so you might have an easier time with RU-vid processing your videos if you export using VP9 or H265. Container can still be mov, but mp4 and mkv will also works as stated in RU-vid HDR requirements.
Hey Gustavo, that's good to know. I'll keep that in mind. I see Final Cut is able to do h265 but I'm not sure about VP9 and AV1. Thanks for your comment! Please subscribe if you haven't already. I appreciate it
Not tried the dual ISO yet. Looks good. I prefer just exporting from MLVapp in log ProRes - and then doing all the LUT and colour correction in DaVinci. I can also remove any aliasing and do some cheaty halation effects at the same time.
Thanks! Yea that sounds like a good workflow.👌🏾 I usually don't use the dual Iso. I came across it and decided to test it out. Please subscribe to the channel if you haven't already
@@KnifeGuy_ I personally don't use Davinci or After effects. However @IMCE Does a great job at removing aliasing in Davinci And He just released a video showing how to. 👍 Here's the video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A2mz5oZmh6U.html&feature=shares
@@KnifeGuy_ Davinci does a good job. With some nodes you can split the video into brightness and colour channels - add a bit of blur to the colour and then remerge. - The shimmering colour artefacts vanish -- but the detail is preserved. There may be other solutions.
