CANON is great for cameras and should only stay in that business! I personally only use the old HP laserjet 2000 Series printers which are amazingly robust. Thisd is also my contribution for preventing to junk up our planet earth !!!

@@EasyLDIY Dear, you have done this video also very well. All I am requesting you is to edit and repost the video with English subtitles. Since there is no audio, automatic subtitles in English cannot be activated. So you need to compose few lines in English at critical stages and append to the video just like you have at some stages written lines in Thai language in the video. I am facing Error code 6000 in my MX494. I recently got the new scanner unit part after been diagnosed for faulty scanner leading to 5100 code. Now I got the new scanner unit and when I installed it first it gave 168A, then after cleaning the contact points of the cartridges, 168A went away. But 6000 started appearing. Shutdown, wait, restarting but still 6000. I thoroughly cleaned the exposed parts of the printer, uninstalled the carriage tray, reinstalled it but after starting again 6000. So maybe same like your video, there could be ink smudges to the left of the printer which may have affected the sensor cable or contact point. Hence need to uninstall the sensor assembly and clean it. That is why I was requesting English script in your video. 😊 Can you do it?

Hi, I have error code 6000. Turn on printer and it test feeds 3 pages. 2 pass through and third stops before printheads and get paper jam message. Turn off-on and page ejects and it starts test feed again. Any ideas?
@@EasyLDIY paper sensor is fine. Any other things to check? When i reset the printer by pressing the red button 5 times with holding power button it turns on. Can print the nozzle check pattern. But not working wifi and usb connection. Copy function is not working too. After i turn on again normally it shows the error. Can you please help me with this. Please share your contact number 😢😢

Hi I have a canon tr8520, after refill the black ink lead slowly. I discovered 2 days later as the ink leak go into paper. Therefore I use tissue to soak as much as I can. I even soak the head cleaning area. But after that, the printer power up with paper jam error but there is no paper jam. After power cycle, it now report 6004 when you try to print. Nothing can be print. I wonder if I have same issue as you. Sorry I only understand English, can you give me some hint what I should do? Thanks
I think I think you may have to add too much ink. Take out a little of the ink and remove the print head and clean it. Too much ink might have landed on the print head.
@@EasyLDIY Thanks to put in English description. It help a lot. I believe my TR8520 has same problem as you. I feel the ink get into the sensor. You said the encoder wheel cannot be clean. Where to buy that?
@@EasyLDIY I am in Ontario Canada. I am now researching to make decisions if I should repair or buy new one. After I watch your video, I really think some sensor or encoder disc is affected by the leak ink. I need to open up to find out which sensor is affected.
