Fixes a few important things though: Overheating (much better), no ibis wobble, clog2

@@TJIzzy clog2 IS avail in r5 if you use clog 3 in menu raw out and have the ninja v+ --- V+ in 8k raw or 5k 60 says CLOG2- test yourself if you dont believe me

its the r5 PERFECTED... seriously how can you be blase about that. I am like you I have the OG but when I can trade it in I think I will upgrade.

@@NoSuRReNDeR001 They should swap the Video/Photo Switch with the On/off switch. This was a big request on the R6 Mark ii. Kinda poor form that they didn't do that.

Only seems to downsample up to 30p, unfortunately, just like the R5 Mark I. I'm keeping my R5C and waiting for an R5C II!

Oh damn! That hadn't even crossed my mind. Apparently there will be a firmware update for older cameras to be a le to use the LP-E6P, but I'd imagine that there would be something inherent in the R5's design that wouldn't let it take the extra juice through the regular battery port.

Maybe one day I'll surprise everyone.... ;)

Thank you! I sorta just grade by eyeétaste - and very quickly since the timeline to produce these videos is rather short.

Well, I would argue that read out speed or high frame rate raw video aren't the only metrics. You have to look at the entire camera operation. Could the Z9 be as fast as the R5 Mk2? Yes, possibly - I'm not going to admit to be so certain. However, from what I can see, simply in terms of overall computational power (which happens under the hood and effects many things) - the R5 II seems to do what few, if any newer camera models can do. I underscore "seems." This is based of some loose tests, and what I know of each camera's specs and technology. Perhaps someone is (or has done already) a side-by-side test. Certainly I'd be interested in doing one.

There is one Canon Rep in Canada who was with us/camera for the entire day, and only one other store in Canada that had the same privilege. So, sure not the exact definitely of excluding but far from inclusive if you wanna play the word game.

I can’t say for certain but I don’t recall one ever blocking my view. Typically you can usually get rid of it by selecting “info” (Canon’s version of “display”)

@@vistek I WANT it to block my view. Canon (outside of the R5C) won't let it stay on while recording, which is what I want.
