The Romanovs never deserved this horrible death, the bolsheviks are criminals the USSR was a disaster, The great imperial Russia will always be in the hearts of all loyal Russians. Rest In Peace you will always be remembered.

Knowing nothing of Russian Orthodoxy,may I ask,why were the Romanovs cannonised? Where they done so as martyrs? And,is it done so with the sanction of Vatican City Or does the Russian Orthodox church practice it's faith away from catholicism? This is all so fascinating.A beautiful ceremony & no doubt extremely important to Russia as a nation so different to how it was under the Bolsheviks! R.I.P The Imperial Family!
@mrlopez2681 , thanks for that,it makes sense.I imagined that as canonisation was part of the ritual of conferring sainthood that some miracle/s had to be verified before the process was sanctioned.But,as you say,they were true to their faith prior to & during their horrendous imprisonment & then at the point of their gross,barbaric execution.
@faustologreira To answer your question:priest told -let glorify as martyrs in the assembly of the New Martyrs and Confessors Russian royal family~Emperor Nicholas, Empress Alexandra, Prince Alexei etc.
