I work at a gamestop these days and I pre-ordered this game as soon as I saw the trailer for the first time

Darkstalker alone make this collection a dream come true , pocket fighter is a nice surprise too, still some missed gems like star gladiator, street fighter EX, Rival school, Capcom Fighting evolution

As soon as this was announced I knew I would buy this on day one. Haven't played any of these games and without having the consoles at the time, or now, to play them, I never got a chance to play them as I had mainly Nintendo systems at the time. I also never saw them in the arcades either. Also if you order this before the set deadline you also get additional bonus material, added museum gallery, music mixes, and a free-to-download Three Wonders game from Capcom Stadium 2.

Has anyone noticed in hyper Street fighter 2 the sound effects do not work correctly when using characters from different versions. Oddly it works when the characters are on the right

I am of a certain age and spent most of my time skiving school and playing arcade games. I grew up on Street Fighter and various Neo Geo fighters but as I've got older and games have become better I've played these less and less. Even the modern takes on Mortal Kombat which look superb only hold my attention for short periods. I would like the Street Fighter 25th anniversary edition on cartridge just to say I have it in my collection more than the fact I would actually play it. The same would apply for this collection.

So good, I can't wait to grab the physical. Too many people never got to experience Dark Stalkers & especially the more obscure ones.

He mentioned you can’t exit from the training menu straight into a versus match. Has that ever been a feature in any fighting game? Genuinely can’t think of one.

My love of fighting games has waned as I have gotten older. I believe that last one I played and enjoyed was back in 2012 with Marvel vs Capcom 3. Obviously I grew up player Street Fighter, MK and Killer Instinct but they no longer appeal to me. I am sure that the hard core fans will still enjoy this collection, its just not for me.

This is a cool collection but I'm kinda tired of Capcom repackaging the same old games over and over again. Yeah, it's got Darkstalkers but whoopee. I'd like to see a couple of newer 3D fighters ported to the Switch other than Mortal Kombat. I enjoy the 2D fighters as well but something a little newer than a game I've played 1000 times would be nice.
