I love the paint jobs on some of these boats. The Formula and the blue-on-blue of the Yellowfin. I’m not crazy about the name taking so much of the side of it but those blues are beautiful.

As I often watch these videos , especially when the approximate prices are shown I can not help but wonder where that many people have that kind of money for their toys ? Before I retired and was making what was considered wages , The highest I ever considered spending was $84,000 . One wealthy friend spent a little over $100,00 many years ago . Hard for my brain to even imagine having that much money .

If you want something bad enough in life, you will find a way to make it happen. Typically, if you work for someone else, you are helping that person accomplish the dream you feel to be so out of reach. It's not as unattainable as you may think, but it starts with wanting it bad enough to take the first step. On a side note, many of these boats are financed, so don't beat your self up over it. If you think financing a boat is a bad idea, it's not - and you may want to learn more about why that's so.

My thoughts exactly! I’d much rather have a yacht or sailboat. I like that you can go where you want and stay. My good friend has a 32’ sloop and we go for days at a time.

I noticed on a lot of the these newer boats many of them have a sort of bevel or indentation on the the bottom side of the hull, what purpose does it serve? Is it to decrease spray or better hydrodynamics?

Hi! Those ridges called strakes and their main purpose is to prevent spray and water from riding up the hull, thereby reducing wetted-surface resistance. ... But strakes' main purpose is to help reduce surface friction.

Yes I did but I am not sure it was a scarf, I think it was a microfiber cleaning rag or a plastic bag. It's hard to tell...

The definition of "stormy seas" for you guy's is confusing to me but what blows my freakin mind is how much people spend on boat's there that can't even handle your definition of rough seas. I see very few on these inlet channels that could actually handle rough seas and nobody really pays attention to them because they're not chromed out and carbon fiber with 6 outboards of overkill. Our average seas here on the east side of Big island Hawaii that we fish on the regular make your rough seas look like a lake. Stacked 4'-8' swells with 15-35mph winds are very normal and we'll fish on the parachute overnight and troll or bottom fish during the day for a few days at a time in those conditions. Where the currents meet in some places turn 4' into 20' for a couple square miles. We call the worst one off king's landing "the washing machine" lol. I'm not trying to be an arse or anything I'm just truthfully confused about why people pay so much for something that can't handle the inevitable when you're out in open ocean. Sooner or later everyone is caught in a storm or is hit by rogue wave's and if I'm spending over 100K on a new boat I want something that'll get me and my passengers home safe no matter the conditions. If I had to try and spend $750,000 on a boat here it would be a 50' Force Marine deepV or Radon deepV + triple chine or maybe a massive Catamaran that could handle 20' seas (but I love the deepV hull because I've seen what they're capable of), with twin inboard Volvo Penta 400hp with Volvo legs and counter rotating props. Loaded with absolute every electronic imaginable, sea keeper, 10,000lb fish hold, ice machines, 30' tuna tower with control's, flush deck for self bailing, and a hottie that can cook and I'd probably have enough left over for a new house.
