fun for sure!!!! this game was a blast with me and my brothers. finding the secrets. getting into the indy car races. i will never forget this game. brings back nothing but good memories. i was born in 94 but i remember the shaggy carpet in our austin apartment in 99. that nasty orange color, but i do remember my brother getting a playstation, and this was one of the games we played religiously, next to NFL blitz.
One of the tracks from the game was used in an episode of the cartoon show Max Steel. It was a sky diving scene. And I think they had Mat Hoffman or Tony Hawk on it.
That would be "u-tech-niks", sounded more like a slur the way you said it. lol. This is a cool game though, and is still currently one of the least valuable games on the system. People don't know about it, and arcade racing has lost it's fan-base in the retro scene sadly. I have a theory that '97 was the golden year for PS1, N64, and even Saturn. Seems like a lot of the best games of the generation came out that year.
